I was very disappointed with this State Park. Upon check in there were 3 ladies behind the counter and apparently it took all of them to help the couple checking in before us. We waited 10 minutes for them to finish and be able to help us. Wow! Then the directions to our campsite were very poorly given...they gave us a general campground map and basically sent us on our way. Once we found our site we discovered that most of the sites are very small...we were practically on your neighbors lap. Stay AWAY from the restrooms...they were so disgusting that the men even refused to use them! We couldn't even let the kids swim because the Ecoli levels in the water were 3 times the normal limit... so the beaches were closed. Overall this has been the worst State Park we've been to yet. We won't be going back
Typical state park, we found the office staff friendly and helpful. Did not use the showers so I can t comment. Picnic tables could use updating, overall though, we had a good stay
