Our stop here was unscheduled due to a blowout, but the park is very nice and located near services that got us back on the road next morning. A great area for runners and walkers in the park.
Great park for a one to three day stay. Great park for kids. Bathrooms clean, friendly staff, small camping store but should have what you need. Town of Anderson 3 minutes away if need be. Large sites with open spaces. Nice trails, they aren't long trails but they are informative as they discuss the large Native American mounds throughout the park. Nature center is newer and nice. Right along the White River although the campground isn't right on the river. Bring the bikes, plenty of areas to ride.
Clean and well kept state park. Just stayed for one night as a stop over. Electric only sites but very spacious. Restrooms were clean but a bit dated. Would surely stay here again if in the area.
