Mount Pocono Campground

| Great weekend getaway!

We called one week out and booked a site for our 35' RV. The gentleman on the phone was very patient with me as I tried to get a site out of the way since we have two dogs. He assured me the pull through site would be fine and that he and the owners have dogs. We drove up on a Saturday and were greeted by the owner, so nice and friendly. She and her brother bought the place 13 years ago and have obviously put a ton of work into it. The site was level and had a picnic table, fences between spots, grass and a fire pit. The sites were tiered along the hill and provided every site a reasonable view of the trees surrounding the property. While we were there the roads were maintained by the owner using a bobcat and trash was picked up daily. Due to our visit being in October the pool was closed for the season, but looked nice and there was a park, shower facilities and a nature trail that we used daily for dog walks. The campground is next to a PA Heritage area. There is a stream, old stone house and trails through the woods. We loved it here!

We called less than a month before our planned trip and they were very Accommodating. Very nice clean sites and friendly owners. They do have you wear wrist bands which our kids were not to happy about, but that was the only complaint. Lots to do which includes a nature trail and plenty of activities available within the campground.
