Mixed thoughts on the RV park. Upon arrival we were greeted at front check in with "You have a reservation?" The next words were "Your balance due is $xxx. So much for "Welcome"?? Security guided us to our spot, pointed to it and waited till we backed in. Zero help or offer to guide. Lot was nice but I was surprised to learn that the owners who rent can just leave their golf carts on lot and you need to deal with it there. Also no use of their kitchens, sinks, BBQ, etc. They did allow us to sit in their chairs. Virtually no social activities and found those in residence seem to keep to themselves. Did talk with a few owners up by pool at clubhouse, friendly but not very welcoming in my opinion Clubhouse is very nice, lots of leather and heavy wood decor. Surprised it was always empty. Being an owner at a large RV resort complex in FL where everyone waves says hello and is out and about we found this to be quite the opposite. But everyone has their own style. We would not return but others might find it right to their liking. I will say the coach houses they are building up on the ridge are very nice with great views. Expect construction during day time hours over next couple of years. Sort of like a new housing project going up. Lots of sawing, heavy equipment trucks, etc, etc. All utilities worked well and resort is gate guarded. Security was constant.

| Love Mountain Falls

We absolutely love staying at this resort. We are the little coach (gas) here and everyone welcomed us like family. We have made several friendships where we meet these new found friends while on the road, exchange emails and travel plans. We are only two years into the rv thing. This resort has been our go to place, we have visited about six times. We already have our October reservation for the color change. Ridge lots have a 50 mile view, I love playing the par 3 golf course (inclusive), Wednesday & Saturday evening socials, Thursday night mobile bar brings a cocktail or two to your site (also no charge). Tennis court, about 5 pickleball courts, pool, hot tub, exercise room, wonderful club house for a card game or to socialize on a rainy day. Area has good restaurants, shopping, golf, hiking, etc. The only thing I dislike (just a mountain inconvenience) mountain roads, takes a while to go a few miles. I can see some a little intimidated by these surroundings, after all a ridge lot and coach house can top a million, way out of our league, but we can rent there every once in a while :)
