Spend $ elsewhere or leave your camper in your own driveway

Beautiful, quiet campground with roomy sites. Laundromat, clean, private bathrooms with showers, and a friendly staff. Not very close to attractions, but worth the drive. I will definitely stay here again.

If your need is to "get away" and have peaceful quiet time, then this is it. We drove 2.5 hours to get here from North Alabama, and the last 5 miles was up serious incline. My motor home struggled a bit, and had to drop down to 3rd to keep RPMs up. Mountain Glen is 20 minutes from Falls Creek Falls beautiful scenic falls, and mountain area. The difference is level spots, ALL PULL THRU !. The owners/staff were very kind, helpful, and friendly. This place is quiet as a mouse and I LOVE IT.

The reason for the three stars is mainly because it is a a nice and rural place. BE AWARE, if you do not follow the directions listed on the site you will find yourself in a bind!! Luckily we called and the office was very helpful in making sure we knew the safe way to get there. Following the directions just know that you will be traveling about 3 or 4 miles up a 6-8% grade. It wasn’t a very busy road, so we didn’t really have any trouble getting there. Cell service with Verizon was pretty much no existent at the park or within 15 minutes. If you want to get away for a bit and really experience the country, and are pulling a smaller fiver, then this is the place to go. If you are traveling through and pulling a bigger rv, I do not recommend it. The sites aren’t level and are gravel. The game room was nice for the kids. And the front office was helpful. We stayed for two nights in a 43’ fifth wheel.

We stayed one night and campground was very accommodating for us, as we called just before they left office (9-6 Fri-Sat, 9-5 other days). Quiet location except that it is right on road and occasionally, there are very noisy trucks that go first thing in the AM up and down the road. Camp sites are right on top of each other, would not like that for any long stay. No AT&T signal, but their WiFi is awesome. 6 TV channels with antenna. Other than the trucks it's very peaceful and quiet. Nice amenities. Area has lots to do within an hour's drive.
