Reviews for Mountain Shadows RV Park

| Ok stop

Very friendly receptionist. Pouring rain when we arrived, so didn't get out much. Seems a little pricey, but not a lot of choices in this area. Park spots are tight, but seems like a good crowd.

Salt lake is in need of a good rv park. This one has been taken over by trailer people who live here permanetly. A lot of family running it and doing a poor job of it. We have stayed here for many times and never get the space that they assure me ill get. Try and stick u in some place where the slides wont even fit. And internet??? Haha what a joke. All the trailer people on it and its throttled so you really cant ever use a web site. For 10 years now same story. We are going to change it and upgrade it. I dont think so. Anyway very poorly managed and operated. The mexican yard people are the ones workng the hardest

Very tight spaces, but they had a decent restroom and very modern & large laundry room. It was convenient for us visiting SLC and relatives in the area. There aren't many RV parks to choose from, so we felt lucky to get a space for two nights.

| Not bad

Spaces are a little narrow but not too bad. Plenty of room for slides. Pretty quiet if you get a spot further from the freeway. Staff friendly and helpful.

| Nice RV Park

Stayed one night. Spots were a bit narrow but we got our 42 ft Toyhauler in and out OK. Pool and spa were clean and working, however, you needed a key. Staff was friendly and courteous. We would stay there again.

| One night.

Call vs. booking online. We stayed for one night. I liked that the office had extended hours from other parks that we've stayed at. The office assistants that helped me were very kind and understanding. Had an end site with full hookups and our own little strip of Grass with a picnic table. It looked like they offered several additional amenities (pool, spa, etc.); we didn't get to experience any of these because of other plans. Reasonable rate. I would recommend the park if you need a spot to stay in or around Draper.

| Comfortable Stay

Stopped just for 1 night; $48 even with Good Sam's discounted. Clean restroom, level sites, full hook-ups. Lots of shade trees; some sites are tight but lots of well cared for green space. Only negative was that they seem to have more full-time/extended-stay campers than short-term campers so finding a spot for 1 night was tough.

Yes,spaces are close together but everything else is fine. Very clean restrooms. Loved the indoor spa. Very quiet. Will definitely stay there again

| Not Impressed

By user-6458034... on 2017-10-23.

Very disappointed with this campground overall from the beginning! They almost did not let us stay because of having an older trailer, then we arrived and there was trailers that I couldn't believe were allowed after the hassle we had. The rent is pretty high especially for the winter but electric is included. The wifi has barely worked and is still not fixed. My boyfriend has been in the park since October and its the middle of January the wifi still does not work! I stayed with him there for a month and was disappointed with the wifi and the bathroom cleanliness. Showers filling with water, not draining and toilets not cleaned or taken care of. Nice laundry room and you can pay with card instead of just quarters. Would not stay at this park if there were other close by options.

We are here for one night only. Lot is supposedly a premium one but is narrow and straight in. Not an easy place to get in an out of. Seems to a lot of full timers and kids but quiet so not an issue for a night.

| Needed a place to stay

We arrived in Salt Lake City near dark, and needed a place to stay for the night. They were full up already, but were able to give us a spot in their overflow area. Had water and electricity only, but we were glad to have it. Cheaper than the full price too. They have a nice hot tub, and nice showers available in the restrooms. It was just what we needed. It does look like there are a lot of full-time live-ins there, but the park is clean, and the only time we saw kids were pretty much when they left for school in the morning. Really not a bad place at all.

| Well maintained

Stayed here for 4 days. Yes, spots are tight but, the park is well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful when we needed some direction. Close to everything including a very scenic ride up Big Cottonwood canyon.

Arrived here without a reservation and the RV Park was full. However, since we only needed 1 nite w/electric & water, they were able to put us at an 'emergency' site just across from the office by the pool. Quite, we'll landscaped park with a huge area for dogs. Very dog friendly. Clean bathrooms/showers with good water pressure. This was the second time that we've stayed here and will do so again.

Stayed here one night.. recommended by rv salesman as we were purchasing a new unit...'manager' disrespectful and condescending. Spots were tight for our 36 ft fifth wheel. A lot of permanent residents. Left even though we needed to wait 4 days for our new rv. Poor internet couldn't even search for a new park to stay at...

| Great in-town stop

Great stop if you need to be in the city. We had a convention in SLC, and it was 15 minutes to downtown. Not a resort, but very nice. Clean and well maintained. Use your Good Sams card for the best rate.
