Expensive! $60 a night or $30 with passport america. No bath house, no pool, no playground, no dump station, pay extra for sites that have no sewer hookups and most them don't. Its good for its proximity to Pittsburgh, but that's it.

Pretty close to PITTSBURGH.

Pittsburgh is close. Nice folks, no black tank dump at connections on the lots, but they have a dump station on site. The view is nice, it's like big sky country 20 mile or so from Pittsburgh, (don't) follow gps directions call them.

We didn't listen,we just went for it anyway. Have no regrets either. Big spacious lots, very nice view, and definitely, big rig friendly.I'm sorry, but I don't remember the nice lady, that owns the place, but she made dang sure, that we got our Passport America discount, and that was on the 4th of July. She is awesome.Next time we are in town, she will be the first to know.Coming from Florida, looking for Southern hospitality,we found it,on the Mountain Top.

Great views and spacious campground

Stayed for a weekend in May 2017. Great views from every site. Easy pull through sites and very friendly owners. Looks like they're in the process of adding a new office and other upgrades to the campground. I would definitely stay there again. $45/night for my 24' trailer.

Nice Campground near Pittsburgh

Nice, newly gravelled level sites in an open field. They all back on the edge of the mountain top and most have nice views into the valley. The owners were friendly and easy to deal with.
There was showers and toilets next to the owners house which we didn't use. We had the grandchildren out for a picnic and there wasn't any playground for them to play on. If there was a separate shower block and a playground I would give it 5 stars. As it is, it still is very nice and we'll be back.

A Piece of Camping Heaven

We loved Mountain Top Campground. Getting to see the sunrise on one side of the campground and then the sunset on the other, this campground offers the quiet tranquil scenery. It did not get overly crowded with ample room from any other campers. The view from the outer sites will please many. What is also nice is how they have the seasonal campers on one side as those who stay for shorter time stay on the opposite side. The owners of the campground were great and hard working as they were making improvements for future campers. We highly recommend this campground and plan on returning there next year bringing along more people with us to experience the wondrous scenery that it has to offer.
