Quaint overnight stay
By user-5841194... on 2017-10-23.
Nice stop over CG. We had a level pull through. FHU with 50 amp service. Very nice owner that helped me with setting up. I had a chance to talk with the owner for awhile. The CG is family owned. He told me their plans to keep improving the CG a little at a time. Gravel sites. We stayed in a motorhome and toad. I will stay again if traveling through the area.

Very helpful & friendly staff

Called to make reservation about an hr ahead of time. Very friendly on the phone. I arrived to a friendly face guiding me to a space. He stuck around to help me hookup water, sewer and electric. Far enough off the highway I didn't have to listen to cars. I'd definitely stop here again when passing thru

No thanks!

The only reason I gave two stars is that the owners are such nice people and very helpful when setting up. Also, it was very quiet... except when the trains passed through.
However, this doesn't cover the flaws of the park. The spaces are all overgrown with weeds and the power is supplied via extension cords. The entry road is not smooth and I almost bottomed out my towed trailer. The pull-through site I had was not level and was so bad that my jacks couldn't get me level. There is no laundry, WiFi or bath house.
There were some decent, level back-in sites for smaller RVs... but I would not recommend this park for larger RVs.

Don't stop here
By user-5289446... on 2017-10-23.
I'm pretty easy to please... Except for this place. Not being maintained. Weeds at sites. Trees not trimmed for large units. Electric was out at site we backed into.... Walked around to test other sites... No one to meet greet or help. Some locals using park. To the owner... Trim trees and weeds.... Get electrical working... Needs some TLC.... We have a 31' motorhome.....

No pull throughs
By user-5840313... on 2017-10-23.
Nice little park half mile off highway, but back in sites only - fine for an overnight if you don't mind backing into a nice level site. Nothing to do or see here, but the quietest being furthest from the road. Did not stay because we pull-through only.

Waitin out the wind....

Needed a place to wait out high winds. Paid $50 for 2 nights. Pulled in around dark. Road thru the park is a little rough. We needed a pull thru, 2 in park. Owner Brad is super helpful and friendly. Water pressure is AWESOME, 50 amp hookup and decent WiFi. You can tell owner is trying hard for a decent park, in an area where there's really nothing. He's a busy farmer/rancher. Couple of rough rigs permanent. Red ants were crazy. He's putting in new spots this summer so if we're back in the area, we'll stop again. We wouldn't do long term, but a couple of nights weren't bad.
