We were tent camping and the reservation site only showed RV sites available. I called and the staff member who answered the phone give me a list of RV sites that have tent pads. Tents have to be set on pavement if no tent pad available. Friday and Saturday of our stay the campground was completely full. There were lines at the showers because of this. The lines were the only negatives we had about the campground. The staff patrolled the campground and few times each evening. Sunday evening there were a lot fewer campers and that made it our best night there. No lines and much quieter, not that it was noises other nights. The showers and bathrooms were clean every time I went in, even with them being completely full. There is a country store in walking distance across the parkway. There is also an Inn and restaurant.
One of our all time favorites. Warm showers, clean bath houses, hiking trail, the inn is within walking distance with great food. We've tented and small trailer camped. Have yet to try our 5th wheel but there is a big rig loop.
Nice clean sites, bathhouse looks like recently remodeled, WI-Fi available at Ranger Check-In station when it's open. Pisgah Inn short walk from campground. Fabulous restaurant and some fantastic views from the Blue Ridge. Not far from Asheville NC via Blue Ridge Pkwy. Would definitely return.
