| Pretty scenery and friendly folks!

This is a small campground on a small jut out in the Atlantic about an hour from Dartmouth. 51 'sites', a good number of which are just wide enough for your trailer or coach to pull into and have your awning out without hitting your neighbour. No trees between most of the sites either. Some fire pits are old wheel rims while others are backed and sided by large stones as if you were really roughing it but there appears to be a pit and picnic table at each site. Nightly bonfires and mussels boil free to all campers down near the water. Relatively few sites are seasonal or private. The dump station is a pipe sticking out of the ground on the side of the road hidden in the underbrush with no rinseout tap we could find. Looks a bit suspicious to us but we have no proof of anything. But the place seems quiet and people are friendly. The 'highways' in the area are not major ones and can be rough in places but are very much passable. Would recommend that if you pull a large rig you will want to be confident in your ability to manouver it in small spaces or you might give both yourself and whoever is helping you a heart attack. Plenty of activities to enjoy, including various water activities, boat tours of the area, private island overnight stays, hiking and games to rent. They are on a well so they ask you not fill your tanks but they do what they can to accommodate their guests and will happily help you find whatever you are looking for if they can.
