Reviews for Musicland Kampground

By user-5787810... on 2017-10-23.

Very beautiful but very hilly campground. Amazing how they constructed such level campsites out of such a hilly area. People at the counter are top-notch! Very friendly and helpful. And the people who guide you to your campsite are there to assist you at your site as well. Location is great, just off the main drag (highway 76) and within walking distance of some main attractions. Wifi is so-so and cable provides a somewhat blurry picture. This was our first stay here....we would come back. Rate was $27.00 + taxes with veterans discount.

We had originally booked with another campground that had to close due to flooding and were referred to Musicland Kampground. Things could not have worked out better as we discovered the best campground in Branson. In fact, it was the best campground on our whole trip. The campground is really a beautiful park and the customer service is second to none. We were able to walk to a few of the shows they recommended for us (all excellent). We drove to Moses which was only a few minutes drive. Everything was perfect, they get 5 stars from us.

| Among the best. Rates tops: location, helpfulness, cleanliness. We planned to stay one night but Valerie made our stay so pleasant that we had a hard time saying goodbye. Music land was our favorite campground of three 45 we have visited o...

This is a beautiful place. Very hilly but from what I have seen all the sites are level and have gravel. Roads are paved which helps. Very well maintained and clean. Only bad I gotta say is no wood fires and dog walk is very hilly also. So with someone that it's hard to walk can walk the dog. I would still come back with no doubt.

Perfect spot, walk to everything (no kidding). The campground is woodsy and clean - very nice environment. Will definitely come back.

This campground is located right in the middle of everything yet it feels very secluded. Big trees. Nice separation. Best internet I have ever had in any campground. Run by a family of very nice people.

| Best location in Branson

I thought Musicland was a perfect place to stay if you want to be in the heart of the tourist activity in Branson. It is a short walk from the main drag, yet when you're at your RV you still feel like you're in nature. It is a very hilly park with a lot of trees, which I thought made it very pretty. Most sites are back-in, but they sent someone in a golf cart to lead me to my site and help me back in. I was in a 45' rig, and you definitely have to be careful making some of the turns, but it is doable. I thought all the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, and I thought the pool area was very nice as well. I would highly recommend this park when staying in Branson.

We spent a week here, and loved it! Right in the middle of everything, yet peaceful and quiet like you're out in the country! Friendly staff, clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning here!

| Great location, above average park

Great location, right in the middle of everything. Great access to the blue and yellow routes makes getting around very easy. Park is nice and well laid out, a little tight in spots but that's the way everything is in Branson. Not quite a 5 star to me. Every other park I have stayed in Branson has had the same cable TV, this one only has 9 or so channels. It's a little annoying, we don't spend much of our time in our 5th wheel but when we do some variety, especially during college football season would be nice. The park is well shaded so most sites do not have great satelitte signal strength. It's gated and uses card access to get inside. Great idea but it makes it hard for visitors to come and visit. It also makes a stop at the office a must before you leave. Some won't have an issue with this but I just like to hit the road when our stay is over. All in all its a great place in the middle of Branson.

| Great RV Park!

The park is great - owners are so accomadating and helpful. Office staff ( especially Tonja) were always there to direct us to great shows and restaurant's. Close to main street and side streets to get around the main drag! Our October visit was so enjoyable we will stay there every time we go to Branson! Thank you!!!!

Wonderful owners and great customer service. Great location high up in the mountains, but right on the strip behind the Titanic Museum. You can walk to several attractions and restaurants. Good size spaces etc.

| The best of our trip

By user-6415058... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed at over a dozen campgrounds on our cross country 3 month long trip and Musicland was our best experience. It was very refreshing to stay at a campground so well managed. It is located in the center of the theatre district. Though we didn't walk much, we could have if we so desired - everything was very close. The campground itself is very nice with lots of trees and squirrels playing on them - it's a country campground in the city. The campground was packed full but was still very quiet, except for the 4th of July fireworks - but that was lovely.

| Beautiful tiered camping spots in town. Walking distance to many attractions.

By user-5718082... on 2017-10-23.

The campground is very nice and maintained. Our site had a deck overlooking a valley with many squirrels. The pool is clean and well maintained with a laundry mat next to it. The staff was very friendly and had free Keurig coffee in the office. The wi-if was for general use for email but was not usable for streaming movies. Very nice place to stay.

Never thought about putting a rv park on the side of a steep hill, but they did it, and did a good job. Plenty of shade and fairly level sites. Friendly, helpful staff. I like to get out and walk my dog, but the steep hills make this quite a job for an old man with a bad knee. Our 16 year old grand daughter was with us. Would have been nice if the pool had been open. Was warm enough. Dog runs need mowing and poop cans emptied a little more often. Overall a good place and would stay here again if ever in the area. Wi-fi was ok at my site for lap top, but no streaming of movies.

Great place to stay, ladies in the office were spectacular. Couldn't ask for a friendlier staff. Gentleman guided us to our site and helped back us in. Ladies at the office helped us get tickets, without any offer for the stupid time share junk. Park had plenty of shade and super quiet.

Nice area but you are packed in no room to sit outside. Pool is nice and the bath houses are very clean. They have dog areas which are well kept. My wife loves that it is right next to the strip so if you are coming to Branson for the show this will work for you. I come to relax and this is not the place for me.

Travelling from Texas. Stayed at 10 or so campgrounds. Our best experience thus far is here at Musicland. People here are soooo helpful and the campground is beautiful and so conveniently located.

| Fun Labor Day stay

By user-6327425... on 2019-08-09.

Great location, we were able to walk to entertainment and food. The spots were spaced well. Nice facilities available 24/7. Above all, extremely friendly and helpful people. We were on the edge of the camp ground which had a private residence behind it. We noticed the people that live there walk past our spot a couple times a day. We found it odd, but on the last day they spoke on the way by and were polite. We will stay again, but probably on the other side with full hook ups.

A beautiful and well-maintained campground located very near to the Branson shows and activities. We spent 4 days with family and were be pleased with the entire experience. Very professional in the office. Very helpful getting us to our site. Great value in getting us tickets. We have already booked again for next year!

Busy town and busy campground. Very impressed how efficient the workers were both inside the office and on the park. Everyone was so helpful! Bathrooms were very clean. Walking to the main road was so easy. The dog park was very convenient. Loved this campground!

Staff is great they go out of there way. Our cable line was too short and they got us connected with one they had. They even sell the cable in their store so they saved us money.
