This place isn't anything special but it makes a nice destination. Don't expect much and you will like it.

Very nice and quite park. It's nice big open spots to get our 42' 5th wheel into. That was a blessing since it's our first trip in it to an RV park! We easily accessed the dump sites with water available too. The park rangers were very nice and helpful and even told my disabled veteran hubby he could get a free state park pass! It was only $20 a night and normally you have to pay park entry per vehicle per day too but it's only like $6. The beach is wonderful although a bit of a walk. We took the truck and used the beach showers to clean off before we got back in. The beach was clean and lots of shells! All in all its a wonderful place and we will be back!!

| Great Beach

The campsites are pretty bad since you're really just setting up in a parking lot, but the beach that you can drive on makes up for it. The park needs improved facilities where the sand has taken over. The signs say that you need 4WD to drive on the beach, but we were fine in a RWD SUV if you stay on the wetter compacted sand.
