odd for a koa to have open sites and noone on duty also not big rig friendly no where to turn around and 7 to 8 miles from freeway
Fairly run down, showers over limited privacy with an outside door opening to the community pool. Manage to "flash" everyone while toweling my head after stepping out of the shower. This was when someone opened the outside door from pool. The … ahem, lock apparently was not functioning. Also they double book sites so much confusion and we had to leave a week sooner than expected. Location is convenient to Venice.
Community atmosphere, clean, camper conscientious, very dog friendly. Located on Myakka river, has both lots on and off water. Will refer. Cyndi/Larry
Small and quiet location. More of a retirement community.
We were told no because we have kids even after taking our reservation in the phone and was told we had kids. Denied us upon check in which was fine in the short time we were there we ran into several druggies and sketchy people.
