Decent Park, I found nothing wrong with it. Just wish the rates weren't so high. No trees to shade the sites. Mosquitoes were vicious. Good ATT, T-Mobile and Sprint coverage. Just off the island, short drive to Bar Harbor. Next to airport, but the planes flew over the front of the park near the road, we were down near the waterfront so they were unobtrusive. Large gravel sites, easy access for all rigs.
We enjoyed our stay. It was the end of the season; so it was quiet. Lovely views of the coastline. We walked across the street for a Maine dinner. We will come back.
We had just come up from Rockland and looking for a campground. We needed to dump, fill the lp and fill the fresh water tank. Upon arrival we learned that the campground policy for dumping was a $ 20 charge. This was to discourage people from stopping at Walmat (35 minutes away from Bar Harbor in the opposite direction). They were on the way to Bar Harbor. Inquiring their prices learned they went from $40 to $90 a night one size fits all. You could be on the road for $40 and graduate towards the water to $90. For this amount you could be next to a busy road, no trees and next to an active airport and all of this out of season. Seems to me the owners of this park really don't like rvs but put up with the bother to fill their bank account. I really don't recommend any rv'er helping that effort by staying there. There are many parks in the area that offer much more and more realistic.
