Reviews for Nashville North KOA

| Very unhappy with their customer service

I would expect that the name KOA should have some type of overall good standing behind it but it obviously does not. We made good intentions to make reservations last week with the KOA in Nashville as we were traveling through. When we called, we were asked if we had stayed there before and we answered yes, however, the lady was not able to find us in the system. This was brought up numerous times in the conversation. We also asked numerous questions including the site we stayed in to see if the improvements that we were told previously had been made. Answer was no and she seemed to have no idea what we were talking about. You would think she would have asked 'Are you sure you are contacting the correct KOA' based on the questions and answers. Instead, when we arrived at the Nashville KOA, it was found the reservations were to the wrong campground. Had the lady asked one simple question, this never would have happened. When we contacted your campground to let you know, we were told you would not refund our payment and basically she was rude and told us too bad, even though we were still staying at a KOA in the area. I find this as absolutely terrible customer service and something that I cannot believe is acceptable by the KOA corporate office nor how they handle business. Based on my customer experience with this campground, I will choose never staying at another KOA It's really a shame that this is how KOA prefers to manage their business and customer service. We camp considerably and we have seen a lot from campgrounds and this is truly bad customer service.

Park was clean and office staff very nice. Would stay there again for sure. Stayed 9 days fall 2012.

| Good Park

Park is close to freeway which is both good and bad. Good easy access to Nashville. Bad some noise. Make sure you look at the site before you pay. DO NOT take a outside perimeter site. Get one up front or on the interior. Unless you want be be awake when people leave for work at 5am. I would have given a higher rating if the staff had been honest about the sites when specifically ask. The park had ample areas for pet walking. Having said the above I probably would stay there again with a better site that I choose. We camped in a motorhome.

Staff was pleasant, but sites are small and very tight. It is bump-out to bump-out and awning to awning and they pack them in. In our travels have not always found KOA standards to be very high. We had W/E/S so cannot comment on bathrooms. Traveling in a 35 ft. TT.

| Would definitely stay here again

This is the nicest park we have stayed in to date! The facilities and grounds were very well kept and the staff was friendly. When we were arriving, I thought it was a little far out of Nashville, but it was close enough to everything, the longest we traveled to get to an attraction was about half an hour. The shuttle (for a fee) was very convenient for the Opry and downtown so we didn't have to worry about parking. The free music in the park on Thursdays was a nice addition, and the barbecue ($10/plate) was delicious.

This is a nice RV park. Staff is friendly and helpful. The park and the facilities are well kept and clean. One evening we had music and food provided by the park owners....nice gesture .....very enjoyable. The Park was near full during our stay so it was a bit crowded. The only real complaint I have about the park is the road noise. It is located between a very busy freeway and the local road. If you get one of the spots backing up to the freeway (we did) the traffic noise is very annoying.

Staff was very nice and friendly. One came out and to show me where to park and help me back into my site. I thought it was a little odd to back into the same slot as another camper though, our bumpers were only about two feet apart. It was a little pricey, but not too bad. The only thing I didn't care for was that I was on the far side of the park and the train tracks were literally less than two hundred feet from me. My camper actually shook when the trains passed, but the trains didn't run too much at night.

Stayed here for 2 nights while in the Nashville area. Good - friendly and helpful staff, close to city but out of the fray, full hookups available, nice off leash dog park Bad - campers are packed in like sardines w no usable relaxation space at sight, appears there are many living here full time, sites are not maintained well, backs up to interstate w constant traffic noise - especially Jake brakes from big trucks. As we were visiting the city this site was fine. If you are “camping” and intend to enjoy your time at the camper- not a good choice.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Only spent a single night on our way south, so we didn't get to try the amenities. Hence four stars. Our 50 amp pull through site was nice and wide, level gravel and long enough we didn't have to unhitch the dolly. It is a little tight to maneuver with a 40' motorhome and toad, but manageable. The host guided us, and made sure we made the turns and got settled. I would stay longer if I had time.

Nice koa, decent size sites, level, great WiFi. Nice pool, bathhouseshelpful staff. Shore power breaker failed. Went to 50 amp, they replaced 30 amp breaker and restored us to 30 quickly. Easy maneuver for 32c w toad. Great place overall

The spaces were tight but we got one of the last spots the night before the 4th of july. Great amenities and a shuttle to take you to nashville.
