Nice location if you have a boat and want to be on the waterfront. There seems to be a contingent of young people who come up from Sarasota to party on the weekends. If you're anywhere near the marina, they may keep you up until one or three in the morning. l hear one of the park owners can party as hard as the best of them. It's quiet during the week.

Absolutely hated this rv park. Permanents shunned you. Staff ignored you. A weekend party park. Our site was full of tree roots and very uneven. 3" water when it rained. Called office but no response.

We stayed for two nights in late February. Facilities were nice and the staff friendly. There were a lot of long-term campers at the park. My only complaint is that the propane services were available once a day. If you miss the short time slot for Propane, you had to find it elsewhere or wait until the next day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This place is a wreck from top to bottom. It is old..worn out.. and extremely busy. They have spent the moneys needed to maintain this place over the prior years... it shows!! They have added a new spot in the center which is A-ok. But you still have to see the rest of the place daily! ( a pig w/make-up)! They need to shut down for a year ( never will happen) and remodel! Old bar.. old boardwalk..and old equipment which needs replacing! Save your time.. money .. and energy to get to this place. Keep looking for a better place than this mess!

We ended up staying a little over two weeks at this campground because one of us got sick. Great place to recoup. Staff was pleasant. Lots of people come to stay 6 weeks or longer. We stayed in section N with our 42 foot 5th wheel. Plenty of space. Some other campsite sections need larger sites. Roads were nicely paved. Clubhouse could use a little face lift, but usable. Bathhouse was clean and nicely done. Dinners are offered some nights. Pet friendly. No dog park, but easy to walk them around. Marina has boats to rent. Our kids enjoyed the playground and canoeing. WiFi went out sometimes. Laundry was $2-2.50 a load and 25 cents to dry for 7 min. Weekends this place tends to be full. Publix is right down the road and WalMart is pretty close too. The kids loved the Wildlife Park down the road. We saw manatees right from the kayaks. When we did arrive, after days of rain, there were some puddles but those cleared up in a day or so.

Mostly permanent campsites, Internet didn't work so I left message in office first day second day went to the office and she said she called the "IT" guy to check it out no problem Third day called and another person was short and said they were changing services and it was not working. What a runaround. Last night there couple on a golf cart turned over
