Huge campground with lots of sites and plenty of room in between each site. They are on a rotational system so if you are staying several weeks/months be prepared to rotate every 2 -3 weeks from full hook up to dry camping (boondocking). We were there a week and we did the dry camping no problem. Be prepared with a generator for your power and you’re set!. Place to fill with water right near large dump station (3 spots), bathrooms/showers were extremely well maintained. They also have a huge laundry facility and a little book/magazine/ free stuff area that was well maintained as well. Most of the people there have been coming there seasonal for years so they are very welcoming and even had a “Cinco de Marcho” parade for all the campers for all the holidays then had a big party at dinner time. Also the NEX, commissary & gas station are right there near you so bonus!
Unbelievable ocean views, sunsets, and walking a few steps to play in the ocean! Just wow! You arrive dry camping $16/day and the moved us to full service $26/day, the next day. Very clean. Great place to ride bikes, walk. Nice bathroom, hit showers and laundry facilities. Commissary and exchange walking distance. Will definitely be back.
We arrive during low season and fortunately did not have to dry camp. Got a spot right in front of the water! The place is small but cozy and lots of people coming in and out. A bit breezy so you half to keep an eye on your awning. Commissary and exchange right across the street. For $26 a night you cannot beat this full hook up. Will definitely come again.
