We stayed overnight and found the campground to be quite nice. We had a large pull-through site that provided room for our 5er and two vehicles. The wifi was great since our site was right across from the clubhouse. The staff were helpful and friendly. The campground appears to have nice amenities although we did not use them. The campground is on a hill that provides great views of the surrounding scenery. We would stay there again.
Nice overnight stop. Clean park and friendly staff. Gravel sites with oleander between. Quiet. We have stayed here several times and will continue to do so when passing thru.
After two days of parking lot camping, a warm shower and dip in the pool were just exactly what we needed! there's a wonderful park for the kids and laundry facilities that are reasonably priced as well. Happy camper.
I forgot to mention that there is also a game room! pool table, tv, dining outside, fireplace etc! it's worth a stop for sure!
Great overnight stop. Sites are wide and long so you don't have to unhook your toad. Friendly staff with good open hours. Call ahead if you want 50 amps.
Was on the lesser side for a koa. Nice people and decent facilities. Price was right. Only stayed one night.
To begin, we did not stay in this campground. We had a reservation but decided to go elsewhere. When we arrived the park looked nearly empty, granted it was in late August so hot in the desert, but in addition, it looked poorly cared for. What foliage there was, looked dried and stunted providing no shade. Waiting for the staff to arrive we walk around a bit and decided we would probably leave. My husband unhooked the toad, then drove a nearby park to see if they had room for us. On his return, there was a knock on the door and a person demanded to know if I was the one speeding around his campground. I told him it was my husband and told him we were going to leave as the park was not up to the standard we see at KOAs. He just said "you know what that means. You lose a day's rent." I said that was fine but I would be writing a review. He then told me "no one reads them anyway because they are all written by crazy Canadians." Even if the park had been up to snuff, I would not stay with such a rude owner. We moved to Desert View, just down the road with beautiful shrubs and trees, a nice dog run and pool
Needles was very hot, about 100 F when we arrived at 5 PM, and cooled only to 81 F overnight. The park was fine, a large gravel space. Our pull-through site was fine for our trailer and Jeep. We were glad to have power and air conditioning.
We have stayed here twice. Just stopped for 1 night. Full hook ups, level, and friendly owner/ staff. It was 106 degrees in September but it is needles
Stayed only1 night. Weather was unseasonably cool for May. Nice place for being close to the desert. Full hookups and friendly staff.
Like others in the area, very dated with mostly 30 amp short pull-thru sites. Our site is about 40 feet long, which leaves little room for the toad. Narrow sites, but so are others in the area. The nicest landscaping is at the 30 amp sites in the back. Our site is bare bones, but adequate and 50 amps for less than the competition, No cable. The pool is being painted, so not available on a 100 degree day. The water will be off tomorrow morning for an hour while they do maintenance. The views in Needles are not great, and the town is old and dated. Not even a decent grocery store.
