Reviews for Nehalem Bay State Park

| What a great ocean!

This is one of those places you go to for the ocean and not because of the RV park. Nehalem Bay has a beautiful beach (in the Oregon sense - windy, chilly, rugged). The dog had a great time running on the beach. There are plenty of trails to hike. Showers were fine. If I were to rate the RV Park, I'd probably give it 3 stars but Mother Nature gets 5 stars so that averages to 4 stars.

We have a 38ft RV so it was a bit challenging to get to and into our space. Needed some help from a few neighbors but once in, it was nice. It's a very popular location in the summer but very peaceful.

Nice January visit. Quiet and clean and only a short walk to the beach.

| Amazing Park on the Ocean

We absolutely loved this park! We were scheduled for 3 days here and increased our stay to 5. The campground was beautiful and an easy walk over some dunes to the beach where you'll see sand dollars galore. The campground and beach were pet friendly. The showers were free and warm and the bathrooms were always clean. We have a 26' trailer and all the spots we saw were back-in but we didn't have a problem getting in or out. The sites had water and electric and they had a nice dump station at the beginning of the park. If we're ever back in the area, we'll be sure to stay here again!

| Great park, right on the ocean.

Great access to the beach, dogs can run unleashed on the beach. Overall very happy with Park and personnel. Would definitely stay here again.

| Great Campground on Ocean

Great multipurpose CG. They have a horse camp, an airstrip camp (for small planes), boat launch/ marina and the RV-tent sites. Great hike out to beach and wow what a beach. Showers are nice, stores not to far away. For those that want more to do you're a short drive to Cannon Beach or Tillamook. This will be one of our go-to CGs in the future.

| Great park near Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park.

Nice and clean park on the beach. It is actually a short walk to the beach over the dune. Lots of Hiking at Oswald West State Park. Don't even think about driving your RV up the Ecola SP road. Your camping pass is a day pass in area State Parks. You could easily spend a few days here.
