Nesowadnehunk Lake Wilderness Campground is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Maine near the beautiful mountain ranges of Baxter State Park. Picture yourself standing on the edge of a crystal clear lake. The sun is going down behind you, the mountains across the lake have an orange glow and a snowy white moon is slowly rising above them. A loon cries out and native brook trout wildly splash the surface of the water. A little bit of heaven on earth? We think so! Located on the outlet of the lake, there are tent and trailer sites, cabins, and seasonal sites. Hook-ups, showers, boat launch area, general store. Lots of wildlife, great fly fishing, moose, deer and bear hunting (over baits).
