| Nice Park

This is one of the few parks I would give 5 stars despite having no "extras". This park is separate from the Fairgrounds but connected with it. It's open, flat and some sites are so long you could park 3-4 RV's end to end. This was just an over night stop for us and it made for a very easy in and out. This is mostly dirt so it was somewhat muddy after the recent rains but it was drying up nicely by the time we left this afternoon. We pulled in without reservations, pulled up to the office and were on our way to the site in just a few minutes. The first site was too close to the trees for satellite TV so they moved us without blinking an eye. It was our own fault for not asking about satellite when we arrived. Very nice and very well run. We will absolutely use this again if we need to stay in the area again.

We had a gravel/grass site that was fairly level and out in the open. There is a pond their and tall pines all around. They don’t have any recycling, and no laundry facilities and the sites are a bit close together too. But it’s in a beautiful area with shopping nearby. Plus Lake Tahoe and lots of great hiking, boating, swimming nearby.
