| Caters to town

I wanted to book here for a month because I really wanted to relax with a good swim in a heated pool. It's February and nice weather. The pool is only heated from April first till December first. If it were heated now I could swim. Then we were told the lockers in the spa area are for people in town who have a membership. If you are staying here in your RV you have no place to put your things. It seems that several people we have spoken with won't be back. The staff is friendly but I just feel the owner needs to cater to his RV customers and not so much of the public from town. If we come here again we will stay at the RV park that has the heated pool all year round. Just disappointed and feel misled.

Great place and perfect service. Pool, restrooms, showers and camping were perfect. Can't imagine why one would go to another campground in this area, whatever RV you are traveling with.

The resort is located about 7 miles north of the town which is good. The facilities were clean and well maintained during my stay. The sites are concrete and level. Staffers were always pleasant and courteous with me. Trash is picked up from in front of your unit which is convenient. Propane is also picked up from in front of unit and delivered back full. Found the park to be quiet during evening and night time hours. The biggest fix would be having a heated pool and maybe offer cable tv. I found there is not much to do in Pahrump unless you want to hang out at the casinos which are nothing special. There are also some seedy people in that town. The resort would be ideal if you are wanting a base close to Death Valley.

| Not what it claims to be

A lot of glitz in small desert town outside Las Vegas. No restaurant but claims to be a resort. Small gym and the like but just a crowded back-in only rv park. On edge of Death Valley, for those who enjoy 130 degree heat, which we had.

| Great Stay as home base for several nights

Everything was better than expected. Elizabeth was very helpful in getting settled in. Planned to stay one night; extended for two more nights after we toured the facilities. All sights are concrete/asphalt pad combination with convenient hookups. Bathroom/showers we're very good and clean with multiple showers. Laundry room was large with 7 or 8 washers and 7 or 8 dryers. Several pools at different temps. Staff always cleaning pools or site. Only downside was wifi; service was slim to none. Will be under new ownership based on discussion with Elizabeth.
