Newberry Campground

| Nice wooded sites. Friendly staff. Good location. The roads and most camp sites were covered in a course sand which was very difficult to keep out of the RV especially when it is wet. Would not recommend because of this.

I don't get the poor reviews. We enjoyed staying here. Nice large sites in tall trees, including pull thrus. Large open areas with plenty of room. Clean with nice showers and rest rooms. Pool and a small store. Check in was very friendly. A bit pricey at $39. Was told they have made improvements and changed from a KOA to a Good Sam campground. It rained and we had no probs with mud. 30 foot Class C.

$45 for our 24ft motorhome. Only electricity. Have not checked wifi yet...but still way too much money. Oh only 1 shower/toilet building as you first pull in. We are at back of campground. Ican not walk that far. Worst campground i have ever been on and most expensive one too

| Way to pricey!!! Needed a break, spent two nights,electric and water only. My spot didn't even have a fire pit.

PROS: - nice lots, level and not too crowded - friendly staff - Mary was excellent - small convenience store for camping supplies... had what i needed! - water and power was good - shower stalls were clean, readily accessible and HOT water - laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers - mini golf available - free CONS: - bugs, bugs, bugs - caterpillars, flies, mosquitoes - only a few lots have sewer (dump station available though) - mini golf should be free (would have been offended id they charged)
