Could have been better designed. 2 or 3 full sized campers with tow vehicles would fill up the 8 spots and no one could leave unless everyone left at same time. You must not be on the grass. 1 picnic table for whole campground. Playground is nice for small children.
| Nice weekend getaway
Newman Grove city park is a nice place to go for a weekend getaway. With a pool a stone's throw away and a new play ground right next to the campground you can't go wrong. Big open park with a basketball court and a big picnic area makes this area enjoyable. The cul-de-sac style campground can hold 6-8 RV/TT's with full hookups at each site.

We needed a spot for the night. Basically a gravel parking area. Some facilities, most were closed. It was as good a spot as the area had. Thanks.
