2 minutes off I40 Green with trees, grass, stream. Good place to walk the dog. Small fenced in area for off leash. Some "white noise" from highway. Great price.

| Not wonderful, but certainly not awful

We stayed here when we visited the Great Smokies National Park and Asheville, NC. In retrospect, I wish we would have stayed a bit closer to either location as this is a pretty good drive to each. This is obviously not the campground's problem, just a heads up if you have the same plan. The campground is okay. When we were there, the pool was totally out of commission as they were draining it because the water had turned green. I guess the same thing happened the summer before. My kids were looking forward to swimming so that was disappointing. I would call ahead and make sure the pool is available if you want to swim. They also open up the pool to the local residents as well according to one of the staff members. There is road noise because the campground is right next to the highway even though it does seem tucked away. The trees throughout are nice and the bathrooms are fine. Some of the trailers appear to be "stored" in the campsites as there were never any people occupying them and they were looking rather neglected. In other words, kind of an eyesore. The staff was very friendly and nice. I'm not sure we would stay here again in part because of the location and in part because of the pool condition and the trailers that were around us that were basically abandonded. (Probably four or five right near us.)

| Lots of trees

You don't camp in an open field. Lots of trees which was the reason we came here. Plus it was about $100 cheaper compared to other local KOA's. Clean, trashed picked up daily, decent pool and bathrooms. Some sites are not level and adjustments were needed. Friendly staff and fellow campers.

| Just ok

After hour check in was easy, nice to find our reservation package ready for us with map to site. We only did a quick overnight stay, so we didnt explore everything. Place was clean and quiet. Our spot required level blocks, but no biggie for one night stop. Kinda tight but with our 30 ft rig we had no issues getting in or out.
