Reviews for Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA

Stayed two nights. Great location. Not much privacy. Located beside an amusement park. Staff are good. Bathrooms and showers are ok. Could use some upgrading. RVs appears to be rammed together.

This is your typical family friendly FHU KOA. The park is is large and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good satellite, WiFi and over the air TV. Didn't use the the cable, laundry or showers. Staying near the front of the park near Grand Island Blvd is quieter than in the back near the freeway.

| A little pricey

This was an expensive campground but I suppose it's due to the location and the fact that we went on a holiday weekend. Love that the campground has a train that takes you right into the amusement park. Lots for the kids to do. Fishing was excellent in both ponds. Sites were roomier than I had pictured, kind of right together but large areas behind the site for the fire pit.

This KOA is only 8 miles from Niagara Falls and right next to an amusement park, which was great. If you stay here make sure your sites are near Grand Island Parkway. Our sites (in the 600s) were very tight and RIGHT next to the freeway and cost $84 a night.....apparently that is the holiday rate. Nice pools and bounce pad for the kids. Have heard that Branches of Niagara nearby is nicer.....

| Nice but really spread out

Friendly staff and nice facilities, but the grounds are really spread out. We had to walk quite a distance to the pool/playground, as only one pool was operable. We bought discounted tickets to Fantasy World amusement park next door at the KOA office and I'm glad we didn't pay full price because it was really run down, but I was told it's under new ownership this year and they are putting a lot of money into fixing it up. Quite pricy at around $110 per night, but they offered a military discount and it was only 15 min to Niagara Falls.

Not a bad place. The heated pool with the slide is nice for the kids. Pricey for what you get, but maybe that is due to the proximity to Niagara Falls
