Great location. Big sites. But... Extremely rude staff, on a power trip! Have traveled around this country & have never been to a campground with these crazy rules. Have never been treated this badly. No vehicles are allowed into the campground after 9 pm. You have to park in the lot next to it. Were told it was dangerous because there were kids running around. At midnight??? Check out time is 11 am. At 9:30 someone was banging at the door yelling at us to be out by 11. Glad the beach was so nice! This doesn't even deserve 2 stars.
Rate goes up $20 if you are not a Nassau county resident. No discounts for military - $69 per night. Does not have weekly, monthly, or seasonal rates.
