Unexpected surprise. One of best campgrounds we have stayed at. Extremely clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't beat the price specially with passport America. Would definitely stay here again.

What a surprise to find such a quiet, clean campground just about in the middle of nowhere. It is surrounded by game land, which means lots of trees and no road noise..none! Can't wait to go back. We had fun at the oyster festival. Staff was friendly and all the campers were, too.

This is November, 2016; we have been on the road in our motor home since June from So. Cal. This is my first review of any RV park, so I think it therefore comes with some credibility. This the best RV park we have ever stayed in. No trains, no highway car noise just a beautiful environment with lots of space between sites. The staff and owners were delightful.

Great campground. My new go to spot. Everything as advertised. Very neat and wee organized.

Don't waste your time with this place if you have an RV any older than 2000. You will not be allowed to stay. Even if it has been remodeled and painted, they will not even entertain the idea.

| Nice, Clean

Well kept, pretty place and helpful staff. Our March stay was windy, cold and wet so outside activity was limited. A short drive to Elizabeth City(20 minutes) wish we had been here a little later in the spring.

Stayed 2 days, a bit out of the way but what a beauty of a campground. All facility areas were well maintained, great sites overlooking lake. Will stay here again when in the area

| Beautiful campground

Beautiful lake, swimming pool, and grounds. Owners very friendly. They just don't want rv's that are falling apart. They have clearly put a lot of work in making the place look nice.

We have been traveling since July and I would rate this in our top two places we stayed. People are very friendly and the park very well maintained. It has beautiful sunsets and lake. Very flat. We didn t have to level. Not hRd to get together

| Nice campground overall

We stayed 4 nights in late March. First, we had almost no T-Mobile signal and no data so we had to depend on the campground Wi-Fi, which was good (although the campground was only about 20% full). The campsites back up to each other for the hook-ups, (i.e. the towed campers back in and motor homes pull in). There is a concrete pad for the picnic table and crushed stone for the RV which was fairly level for us. Good hook-ups, and some sites had fire rings. There s good space between RV s and lots of space towards the lake. There s a gate to get in, with a card. They do have a store/restaurant (which we didn t use) on site. There is little to do locally, but an hour away are the Outer Banks (OBX), Cape Hatteras, etc. and lots to do and see there. Also, the road to the campground is very narrow. Too narrow for 2 RV's to pass each other without going off the road a bit. Nice campground overall. I would stay again.
