| Good place to relax for a while
This is one of the best campgrounds I have stayed at. We got a spot near the lake which was a nice place to hang at. There is no WiFi or cell rep. so your off the grid (the closest phone is at the office) The showers have a few bugs in them and are a little out of date. The campground is nice to walk or bike around in. Would stay again.
We have stayed at Oak Grove every year for the past 8 years! Always excellent, Hosts present and helpful, washrooms excellent, trees amazing, near boat ramp, our favorite RV destination!
| Poorly maintained!
We look for COE campgrounds because we love them so much, however, we were terribly disappointed in Oak Grove! Although there were many sites available, we were directed to a site across from what looked like an abandoned camper. The grass was overgrown and the place looked like it was ignored. Before we left the next day, we drove around looking for a better place to stay the next time we are in the area. The other COE campgrounds we visited, Clear creek was worse and Pats Bluff was closed. The bath houses were locked at Clear creek with weeds growing up thru the pads. Looked abandoned!
