| Good city campground, stay away from first section outside sites

By user-2595010 on 2017-10-23.

The sites around the outside perimeter of the first section on the right are terrible. My tongue jack was all the way down and still not even close to level. Very narrow between some sites and no level ground. Sites by the water are great, but hard to get due to locals. Nice little pool sized for cg, nice little store, and great employees. Gravel sites in the middle are more for just overnighters I guess. Super awesome tent sites too.

| Un level spaces

Bring a lot of blocks so you can level your rig. More un-level spots than level. My 35' is on the ground in the back and over 48" in front.

| Expensive for off-season.

There are many leveling issues as all of the other reviews state, so bring your gear and prepare to use your leveling tools, even in the center gravel field. There is a pretty little lake to look at but not much else to do. Unfortunately, the laundry facilities are closed in the winter because it is outdoors. The wifi is strong. Employees are personable. Unfortunately, the rate is just too high in the off-season for what you (do not) get, so enjoy the view.
