Reviews for Oasis RV Resort

| Nice place Nice Office Staff

By user-6342454... on 2017-10-23.

Didn't realize the time of day when my husband asked me to find a place to stop. Called a couple of places but everyone closed at 6 and couldn't make reservations online same day. Grr... But when I called Oasis they stay in the office on weekdays until 7. How refreshing. Grounds are impeccable and we had a great stay. I recommend stopping here for one night or more.

| Awesome park

By user-4997170... on 2017-10-23.

Very nice park with concrete slabs on the pull thrus. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Military friendly park, first night free. Would have loved to stay longer but only had overnight.

By user-6455626... on 2017-10-23.

Large pull thru sites with concrete pads; clean, private restrooms with shower. Clean pool and adults only spa. No shade. You can order a pizza to be made when you check in. And a very good pizza! Easy on off of I 40. Nice quiet park for an overnight.

| Great over night stop

By user-5780275... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-09-05 to 2017-09-06

New, Clean, well maintained, large sites with easy access to I40. The front desk personnel were very friendly. We got there too late to get pizza but Dominos delivered. After a long day of traveling it was a nice place to stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

| Nice big and clean!

By user-6280523... on 2017-10-23.

We ended up staying longer due to an rv issue. Staff was very accommodating and helped us with repair recommendations. Laundry rooms clean and accessible all hours. Pet friendly with nice dog area and office assigned us a spot near pet area. Easy highway access and getting to spots for sightseeing. Would stay again.

| GREAT FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY OR TOO WORK!!

| Extremely nice

By user-6389031... on 2017-10-23.

This is a wonderful place. Pull through locations are extra wide with concrete pads. Spaces are separated so you are not cramped. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Close to city and Interstate but very quiet. Showers and restrooms were clean and we'll maintained. Nice large area for pets. Strongly recommended.

| Everything is big in Texas

By user-4743621... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-01-17 to 2017-01-18

Rv spaces were plenty big, almost double the space than other sites. Kids park was nice and clean. Showers had their own sink and toilet and a locked door. It was your own private room. Great military discount. Dog run was big and clean.

| Pool for the kids... And adults

By user-6594516... on 2017-10-23.

Concrete, level pads, lighted hookups, nice pool. All in all - great park! Was very windy with very little shade.

| K was of no help

By user-5882634... on 2017-10-23.

DISAPPOINTED! 9/29/2016 Headed home from our 3 wk trip trying to find a campground located around Amarillo, TX. Need one night stay, K, said, "we are booked." My husband told him our situation, K's response, "oh, their booked from here, Amarillo, TX to MS." Really K? Most campgrounds that are full will offer help to travelers and give out names of other campgrounds to call in the area.

| Too bad

By user-6206086... on 2017-10-23.

Easy access; nice convenient pull through spaces; clubhouse; quiet . Great for overnight, which is what we did. Though I liked the pet waste containers that were conveniently spaced around the park, i found it odd that there was no bag dispenser or rake/shovel . Good Wifi. Hook up as many devices as you have. Overall, a nice park, but it could use more TLC . We noticed dog piles here and there and weeds in areas meant to be gravel. Bet there are no work campers. Would stay here again. Very good rates.

| Wonderful RV park!

By user-6302110... on 2017-10-23.

I really enjoy staying at Oasis. I think it is the nicest RV park in Amarillo. I love the wide roads and long pull through sites. When I arrived yesterday, I thoroughly enjoyed the pool after getting the rv set up. Today I loved the eliptical machine in the exercise room. I like that this park is close to I-40 and has a Love truck stop next door.

| Nice park

By user-5852854... on 2017-10-23.

Very nice park. Concrete pads, lighted electrical pedestals. WiFi was adequate. Not much shade but very well maintained. About a mile from the Cadillac ranch and interstate. Would stay here again if ever in the area again.

| Nice

By user-5830075... on 2017-10-23.

We enjoyed our stay here. Great bathrooms! Full individual bathrooms with toilet, sink, and shower with locking door. Nice wide level concrete pads with nice hook up posts. Cable. Nice dog run area and kids playground. Right down the road from the actual Cadillac ranch - much closer to it than the other RV parks. Very convenient and short drive over to the Amarillo medical area and businesses. This is a great place if you happen to be in Amarillo.

| Nice, clean and handy

| Great park

By user-5289654... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-10-26 to 2016-12-27

Very nice rv park for one night or a months stay. Great wide asphalt/concrete mostly pull thru sites. Very little dirt in this well kept park. Lots of shower/laundry/toilet facilities located throughout park. Nice free shuttle in limo with longhorn hood ornaments to Big Texan. Sewer, electric, cable & water at majority if not all spots.

| Great travel through stop!

By user-6368376... on 2017-10-23.

Perfect place to stop for the night. Staff inside were helpful and actually have a sense of humor. Sites are level, and we'll kept. Wi-Fi is strong and consistent. Did not use bathroom but checked them out and they appear to be clean and private. We will put this one on our travel stop list. A+.

| Nice park

By user-5798290... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2014-08-10 to 2014-08-11

The park has easy access off if I40. The concrete spaces are large with plenty of room for your toad. The showers and rest rooms were very clean. A little road noise if you are outside, but a nice place to stay. We will camp here again.

| Very nice park/adult hot tub

By user-5799844... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-06-10 to 2015-06-13

Very nice RV park! Large pull thru concrete sites ! Beautiful pool and adult hot tub open 10 to 10!! Great pet area with grass !! Only 33 a night with tax and good SAMs discount

| NICE place to stay

By user-5195890... on 2017-10-23.

Top notch. Newer park. Pretty facility from pool to pull through spots. Everything was CLEAN. Right off interstate, but quiet. Paved parking, Staff was friendly. Several steps up from all the parks we stayed at the last 3 weeks.

| Nice park

By user-5844032... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here for two nights in a 32 foot motorhome. Nice place even though the maintenance guy accidentally broke one of my windows as he was edging by the registration area. The management was very nice and has promised to repair the window. Great bathrooms and showers. Clean and well maintained. I would stay here again. It would have been a 5 star place if not for the broken window.

| Great park!

By user-5512756... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed here twice during July 2015, two nights going eastbound and one night a week later going westbound. The only negative was the WI-FI was not so good. The park is big, clean and quiet. Spaces are long and wide....and flat! Parking is on a cement pad and the streets are blacktop. The park is near but not right by the interstate and the traffic noise is not a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others!

| Nice wide spots with good concrete pads

By user-5867480... on 2017-10-23.

Very friendly staff. Price was just under $40 and park was very clean. My review would mirror Amarillo's review below.

| Nice

Paved streets, spacious concrete parking pads.trees are still maturing.

| Great RV park!

By user-5619954... on 2017-10-23.

Beautiful, immaculate facilities. Large concrete pull-thru sites w/full hookup and concrete patio. Very convenient to I-40 and Loves fuel station, yet very quiet. Also convenient to Cadillac Ranch. Truly an RV oasis, but the nightly rate won't break the bank!

| Great Stop

By user-5799038... on 2017-10-23.

Traveled here in our 33' 5th wheel for a one night stay on our way home. Very nice park, good amenities, neat, clean, roomy sites. Appears to be a newer park. A little road noise at first but at night it's a whisper. Would definitely stay here again.

| Not bad, not great, OK

By user-5961922... on 2017-10-23.

Internet is slower than dialup I had 15 years ago. Cable is a waste of time, it came in grainy, I used my antenna the whole time. The place is pretty clean, not very pet friendly in my opinion. It is very easy to get into and out. Prices are very reasonable, $1 for a bag of ice and washer and dryer were $1 each.

| Excellent park

By user-5907087... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-07-19 to 2015-07-24

Newer. All roads paved, all sites concrete and flat. Hookups are excellent as are the abundance of showers. Pool is clean. Just an excellent place for overnight or extended stay.

| Great campground with a few exceptions!

By user-5801025... on 2017-10-23.

All there everyone says about this camp is true. Spacious, level, paved sites, etc. However it is pricey $173 for 4 nights even with a Good Sam's discount. Staff were helpful and friendly..very clean park. Why 4 ? The only areaof grass for dogs to potty is at the front of the park. There is a nice dog run there too...if you can manage to get into it when it is not in use. If you get a site toward the back of the park, near the clubhouse or pool, you have to walk your pup all the way to the front of the park. All the landscaping is stone every where else or heavily signed for NO DOGS! It would be helpful if at least a small area for dogs was provided at the back of the park too. One other thing, there are no handicapped restroom facities....not even handrails in the showers.

By user-5879007... on 2017-10-23.

Great park

| One of our favorites

By user-5278725... on 2017-10-23.

Huge, flat, concrete pull-thrus throughout with private bathrooms. Strong wifi, friendly staff, free coffee -- no complaints! Oct 2016.

| Sounds like a wonderful place to stay..but after a long day traveling..we want to relax in a hot tub. And it's closed for the season. That's a kicker for us. Need to have a hot tub open all year....

By user-5216841... on 2017-10-23.

| Nice place

By user-5844032... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here for two nights in a 32 foot motorhome. It is a nice place, very convenient to Albuquerque without staying in town. The bathrooms and showers are clean but they aren't an all in one room. It felt like being back in a locker room. I need a little more privacy. I would stay here again because I have shower in my RV. There is a Nuclear Museum in Albuquerque that was a great place to visit. Old Town Albuquerque is a unique shopping me a that has a gorgeous square complete with a gazebo that host local musicians, dancers, and while we were there a wedding!

| Oasis park

By user-5995537... on 2017-10-23.

Great park. Easy access. Stayed here the last five years. Wi fi needs improvement. Cable T V needs a channel guide so you can figure out what's is on. Will stay here any time we are in Amarillo.

| Excellent RV Park

By user-6302110... on 2017-10-23.

We loved staying at Oasis. Nice wide spaces for all sizes of RVs, including big rigs. Very helpful staff, WiFi works great, nice pool too. Close to Loves gas station with easy access to I-40. We will stay here again!

By user-6389031... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed here twice now. Both times were enjoyable. This park is well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are large for easy to access and set up. Highly recommend this park.

| Nice RV Park close to Amarillo TX

By user-6128787... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-10-09 to 2016-10-11

This is a very nice, well kept up RV Park. Be sure to make reservations in advance as they stay pretty booked up. Someone said it was nice to stay at if you are visiting Albuquerque but it is over 250 miles from Albuquerque. They must have taken a wrong turn. Lol. At any rate our dogs loved the dog park cause there was plenty of grass to roll in after having been in the desert. will stay again.

| Nice park

| Beautiful resort/campground

By user-5326444... on 2018-05-17. Stayed 2018-04-21 to 2018-04-22

Not what I expected when I pulled up to it. I was expecting a run down, middle of nowhere campground, what we experienced was a very clean campground with lots of space between sites. The sites are concrete and are level. The staff in the office were extremely helpful and friendly. They also have free coffee, cookies and popcorn in the office. Which it was a little warmer and less windy when we stayed, and had more time to enjoy campground but we were just passing through for one night.

| Super, MUST stop need additional stars to rate

By user-5315715... on 2018-05-17.

All the roads are paved. Everyone is facing the same way throughout the park except for those on the north side. Rock throughout except for open areas (dog walk, club house) . All pads are asphalt with concrete at primary jack points and picnic tables anchored to the concrete. The power, water and sewer are centered on the site. Long hook up or us from rear grey tank, but used single 15' hose to primary dump where I have a Y fitting, then a single 15' hose to the hole. We could park 5 cars on our site. We are far enough in we can still put down our patio and leave it down (but it is still cold at night here and windy) and park the dually at the front. Our rig when hooked to the truck is about 62 feet, so the sites are long enough to hold anything. Temps are running from 35 to 75. If every park were designed and laid out the way this one is no one would ever complain about being too crowded or being awakened by mowers or weed eaters. They have planted trees but they are still young, so no shade yet. But the landscaping is set up so when the trees mature they will offer shade without interfering with satellite dish. Daily rate is $39.60 with Good Sam discount. We are here for 4 days, and to tell the truth, I would not mind staying a month.

| Avoid Hope Road

By user-6277029... on 2018-07-06.

Great park. Clean and well kept. Big dog run. However, if your GPS takes you on Hope Rd to get there do NOT go that way. It is a rough, dirt road with lots of rocks and pot holes. But again, the park is nice.

| Nice place

By user-5878593... on 2018-07-06.

We just stayed overnight so didn’t use/see everything. Staff was friendly when I checked in. Where all the campers are it’s concrete sites, asphalt drives and rocks in between. Several sites had small trees by the drivers side so it blocked the evening sun coming in our front window. We are 39ft with a tow SUV and had no issue getting around and we fit without unhooking. They do have an enclosed area for dogs and lots of nice grass around it too. Just watch where you step not everyone picked up after their pups. We used the free limo to The Big Texan for dinner! 39.60/night with Good Sam

Cant think of a better park.... However, Amarillo is primarily just a pass-thru town... But, if you need a place to stop: This is it.

| Very Nice RV Park

Oasis is a real gem. Paved streets, perfectly level concrete pads and patios, clean private restrooms and showers, full hook up with cable, friendly staff, this park has it all! The pool is nice with a shaded area and they have an adult spa area that we really enjoyed. A great bonus is a free limo ride to the Big Texan Steak Ranch & Brewery which serves THE best steak ever. One of the best RV parks in the country, we will definitely stay here again.

| A Perfect 10!

By user-5927736... on 2019-08-09.

This park merits the highest rating. Location is convenient to the highway and a truck stop, but far enough from both that there is no road noise. The staff are friendly and efficient. The facilities are pristine - concrete pads that almost require no leveling, ample space for big rigs to navigate and park and a beautiful pool and hot tub.

| Excellent

Right off I-40. Exceptionally clean. Great friendly employees. There is clean, inexpensIve laundry in every bathroom area. The only downside is the wind - non stop! I would stay here again.

We have been coming here back and forth from Michigan to Arizona for 6 years now. We have a 24 ft trailer. With our Good Sam it was $50 for one night. This is our last time coming here. We stayed at their sister Park in Gallup NM last night for just over $30. I'm not saying the facilities are bad, just way too much. Looking at all the other reviews I did notice they're older dates none after 2018. Just can't understand the 20% increase from our last stay.

| Very Nice

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-04-18 to 2019-04-19

Good size pull through sites, restroom/shower units very nice, easy on/off I-40, but still quiet. Appreciate the military discount. Very glad we stayed here. Will keep it in mind if we come back through again.

| Nice place....but

By user-5343886... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-04-20 to 2019-04-21

We stopped for an overnight. They have nice office staff great paved roads and campsites. Now the but. Their sewer connections all through the park are forward of the water and electric connections. If you are in a travel trailer, doing an overnight stop, not planning on unhooking from your tow vehicle, your sewer connection will be near the front of your trailer. I really would like to like this place. Yes I carry 30 feet of sewer hose, but who wants to string all that out for an overnight. I should clarify that the problem only exists if you plan on staying hooked to your to vehicle.

| Two night stay - howling wind on 2nd night

By user-5599253... on 2019-08-09.

Well organized site with many amenities. Level sites with great utility hookups. Helpful staff. Two restroom facilities each with about 5 restrooms each and a laundry. Restrooms are a roomy full bathroom. Quiet the first night. The second day/ night the wind howled bringing the smells of a distant cattle operation - the 25 mph winds rocked our class C. Paid $51/ night for full hookup

Clean huge pull through spaces. Concrete pads and every sight has a pull through and 198 spots. Lots of grass and areas to walk dogs. Leash free areas. Dog parks. 3 buildings with laundry facilities. Nice pool and jacuzzi for kids and adults as well as an adult area only. Clean laundry rooms and a nice gym. Tornado shelters at all 3 fa facilities on property. Friendly and accommodating staff. Love it. Would definitely return. Classy clean and safe. Coffee, cookies and such in the mornings. 1 mile from Cadillac Ranch. Also see The nearby canyon. Reminds me of Sedona, Az. Like previous person said, bring a long septic hose. Definitely too far from usual placement for a park. Never seen it before. Office sells septic hoses or get one at CW.
