Thought about giving it a 1, only because I want to keep it a Secret! We have camped twice there and would go every year if I could, and once stayed in one of the "cabins" that you can rent I had to make a quick trip there to take my sister to her son's house who is in the Coast Guard. Wonderfully comfortable place no matter if you have RV or not.
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Close beach access. Spent several days early May in a 38 ft 5th wheeler. Enjoyed checking out the tidepools. Great beach.
Overpriced. However, can walk to beautiful cove beach. Smoky fire pit at every site. Full hookups. Average laundry. Clean facilities. Stayed 2 nights. Electric problems at some sites.
We stayed here for two weeks. We had a site close to the beach. Location alone would be a 5 but other things affected this. The park is old, all gravel except for the front near the office , sites are dirt not sand, actually had to order a mat to put outside to keep dirt down. Wi-Fi is hit or miss. Bathrooms are dated, clean but certainly could use some updates. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great place for kids and if you like the beach. You can walk or run your dog on the beach. Our site was pretty big but others can be smaller. Campfires are a nightly occurrence and it can get smoky with the damp air at night so don't plan on leaving your windows open at night. Full hookups are good and full 50 amp. The best private campground in the area.
Our stay was great! Three nights, nice clean park with very nice hosts. Beautiful beach with easy access. After seeing the other rv parks in the area, this one is the tops! We are already planning more stays here.
Oceanside is just feet from the beach. They even have a seafood shack with awesome fish & chips etc. Great wifi and clean facilities. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back.
Great time here for two nights. Just far enough away from town to be quite but close enough for convenience!
Stayed only one night. Nice clean park with family friendly atmosphere. Hosts were very helpful. The beach was amazing , so much for the kids to explore. Would stay again!
Very nice park,but not $50 a night nice
$33 for a tent site in July, worth it. T36 is about 30' from the beach. Towards the back of the park and quiet. Clean bathrooms, clean showers, clean sites. They allow camper vans and trucks. No tent needed in _some_ of the tent sites. Ask first if you are sleeping in a non RV.
Loved, loved, loved this park... Biggest thing was that it was just steps to the beach with our dogs... we came 2500 miles for this, and our midwestern dogs got to run free on the beach, total magic! Lovely beach, too. Can't see the water from the RV campsites but you can hear it. Slight annoyance in the low "nautical" poles & rope between sites -- very hard to see while backing in! Great little "gift/necessities" shop with the office, love my sweatshirt! The tents and yurts looked fabulous, as well.
I rarely give 5 stars since most RV parks promise big and deliver small. Our spot is only 20 feet from the ocean. Yes, it s pricey, but this kind of property doesn t come cheap. Please, new owners, do not move sites closer together. The ample sites make this a true gem among stones
They are remodeling and have lots of equipment and material in the RV park. When I checked in they did say that I should look at before checking in. I didn't have anywhere else I could go. I was meeting relatives here. They should have contacted us and let us know the condition of the park or give us a reduced rental price.
Wifi was good, park was clean, a little landscaping/construction being done. Ocean was close through a nice trail. Would have preferred being down by the trail but was up by the cottages. Would stay there again.
Private CLOSE access to beach. And the staff there are great and very accommodating. You can take your dog on the beach for great walking and exploring. Or as we did one day ,just sit on the beach and "veg"....
