One of our favorite
By user-5570035... on 2017-10-23.
It was an old but very beautiful park! The people at the office were very friendly and the restrooms are clean. The location is wonderful and there arent any disturbing noises, just the sound of the ocean. Its very close to the beach where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and watched the seals. We would come. Back! Greetings from switzerland

What a nice park! It's an older park but very well maintained. It's a short walk to the ocean where we saw seals and maybe a whale. Two bald eagles flying overhead and an osprey fishing as we pulled in. There is a walled gazebo to block the ocean wind to bbq in if you want. The showers are free and the bathroom is very clean. We would definitely stay at this park again.

Love this place!
By user-5784329... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed here three nights and it was perfect for us. The 4th picture is looking out out trailer window at the ocean! We could walk a few steps at any time and watch a couple dozen seals playing by the jetty. Some people saw whales but we missed them. We were here in mid-April and there were less than 4 other occupants at any time. We had a good Verizon 4G signal and got some work done. Only paid $25 a night.

Good location
By user-4751328... on 2017-10-23.
This older rv park has great access to the beach and shopping/dining. While the park is showing its age, the bathrooms are spotless and the staff is nice. Not all spots have sewer.

Forget about all the other stuff--- yes, it's rustic--- this is the kind of place you buy a camper to enjoy! It's right next to the jetty and all you have to do is open your door to enjoy the ocean. It's a sweet spot!

Quite Friendly But Needs Updating

The two biggest downsides is it's age and it's very wind exposed. The couple running the park are very accommodating and do their best to maintain the place. However, the parks infrastructure is very old and need a major upgrade. The park is very quiet. Most of the park is 30 amp W&E (no sewer), generally satellite friendly, no cable but very good wifi. Laundry is dated but clean. Didn't use the showers. Sites have good access but are very small. There are a lot of fishers here and they are allowed to fill their site with gear making the place messy. They also park their boats so that partly block access. Some sites have a distance water view. On the plus size they have a large dry camping area in case you need get off the road.

Wind swept gravel pit!

I guess I can understand the positive reviews of your lucky enough to get one of the ocean facing spots (which is only about 10 percent of the spots). Otherwise the rest of the space are in a wind swept gravel lot with less than 10' between spaces with dog feces everywhere. If you want to enjoy the outdoors this is NOT the place for you! We decided not to stay after they showed us our space and they refused to refund our money.

Pulled in for an overnighter. Few campers. I like this park! Wide and open. Lots of space. Sure it could use some work but $33 a night works for me...30 amp, no cable, has a dump station. Small airport in front and short walk to the water.
