Lots of space. Great bathrooms. Beautiful plants. Good to stay for more than a few days. Wifi is strangely very very poor. Paying for the showers is strange because the daily price is high. Change this and it's a 5*
The site we had was very nice, clean and semi private. We were next to the walkway to the beach which meant a bit of foot traffic but people were quiet and polite. They advertised wifi but...it didn't reach anywhere near our site so we had to sit in a common area to check emails. We were also the only site without a picnic table. Dogs are welcome which is nice but you can tell people don't care to pick up after their pets which is unfortunate. The dog trail they have is very small and its on a road that leads into an area that stinks and is full of dead animal bones and is actually a no dog walking area. Front desk clerk was very polite. For the name Oceanside you'd think you would be able to see the ocean... Only 3 sites can see it and you barely see it! The beach is a good 5-10min walk even when you're right on walkway and I wouldn't call it swimmer friendly... The surrounding area to the campsite is a little unnerving with rundown homes and people stumbling around intoxicated, at 100pm and they were underage.... Overall the site itself was nice and clean a safer dog area and perhaps a caged dog run would be lovely.
Nice sites but you can't have a fire at you're own campsite, you have to go near the cookhouse for one which is a communal campfire and your dog isn't allowed with you because it's one of the no dog areas...
Great campsite, very clean and well landscaped. Nice walk to a great beach.
The entrance is nice - the office is pretty - once you get through the rough looking neighbourhood. There is a lot of vegetation around but no real shade at all so make sure you have a/c. There is no cable tv as indicated on this site, wifi is limited, if you overstream you can be limited data. The beach is ok for walking but a sewage treatment with outfall is right at the beach (stinky)so I wouldn t recommend swimming. There were bones from either a person or a cow in the stream you pass. Sketchy looking people at times hanging around but I felt safe enough. RV site is very level and clean. Laundry is inexpensive - we did 2 large loads for a little more than $5 in 2 machines. They didn t have a spot for us the first night so they let us stop in the parking for $20 but it seems several others did the same thing - looked like for free.
