This has to be one of our favorite state parks. It's not huge, the sites are kinda' tight albeit there is decent foliage to keep you tucked away from your neighbors, and the bathrooms could use some work but they are kept very very clean. There is plenty to do in the park, hiking, kayaking/canoeing, biking, or just sit at your campsite and watch the white squirrels that live in the park. The surrounding area is beautiful.

This was a gorgeous area. Lots of photos to be taken so have your camera in hand. The sites are tucked beneath trees...I was catching a tree limb with the top corner of the motorhome. Fortunately I caught it before any damage was done...to the RV or the tree. It was dark and peaceful. The bathhouse was nice. Good cell reception with Verizon. Enjoyed the walking paths and it would have been nice to stay longer to get some biking in on other trails. It has a great boat launch and most people were there to fish. I will definitely put this on my "return" list.
