We arrived a little before closing time. Barb, who is the owner/manager greeted us very friendly and made sure to accommodate us in a great site, with lake views!! The place is clean, very well manicured, with nice walking areas to enjoy the lake. It's a family owned business and they are all very nice and really make you feel welcomed. We had a wonderful overnight stay, even enjoyed the very big rain storm that passed that night. We would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it!! Unlike prior review I had no problem with Verizon access both voice and data. We pulled off the road before dark and were met at the office. The campground is an old former KOA that was let go badly. Current owners are working hard to improve it. While we were there water was off to the large pull through sites and work was in process to install all new piping. We would not be likely to choose this as a destination, but can highly recommend it for in transit or a day or two to explore the area.
No cable and poor tv reception but nice place just off I-70 for a quick nights stop. And the price is very reasonable.
Clean,neat, good facilities,3G Verizon,4GLTE at&t,sat reception good, dogs liked open grassy field,no problems.
This is in a dead electronic area no cable,wifi extremely weak, barely one dot verizon service, no matter what they tell you too many trees to get satellite. Ugly,ugly lake. It was a long pull thru( spot 71) and good connections.
Great place, wonderful people ,we'll make it a third time if we go by there again.

Beautiful green, wooded camp ground! Quiet and picturesque. The campsites on the right half of the map don't have sewer, and are 30 amp, but the campsites on the left have sewer and 50 amp. We could only stay for a night, but wish we could have stayed longer! WARNING: the address given on this app takes you further down the road than you need to go. As you exit I-70, watch for signs for the campground. It is very close to the exit, but you'd never know it once you get on site.

Traveling home from visiting family for thanksgiving, got in around 6pm, sites were level, WiFi was fast, lots of pull through sites, good location close to the freeway but quiet. We will be back next time we head cross country.
Very nice folks and level solid sites. Pull through full hookups. Great stop close to the road. Might have to try staying here again when I'm not just passing through.
We stayed here 4 nights in April in a Class A motor home. This is a nice park and the owners are very nice and helpful. Sites are gravel. The pull through sites are long, but narrow and close together. A water pressure regulator is a must as the parks pressure is 80 psi (No fooling)! WIFI was not very good. There is a pool, pavilion, nice fishing lake and community area with a fire ring. Shower house was clean and well kept. They also have a storm shelter on site. Easy access off I-70 and U.S. 40. We would stay here again.
Called ahead for a 50 AMPFHU pull thru. Easy off of I-70 exit 68, be prepared to turn immediately after getting off interstate. Rate with good same/military $30.60. Cable is available. No tv though. Peaceful, quiet. There is as pond and gtou dos were clean. We did not use showers or laundry facilities though they were available. Would stay again
Stopped over for one night. Nice pull through sites with full hookup. Very friendly and gift shop with everything you need. Pretty stocked fishing lake, paddle boats, pool, and playground. Would def stop again.
Were going to stay only a couple of days but was so comfy and nice ended up staying almost a week. Clean grounds, reasonably priced laundry and friendly informative management. Will definitely recommend and stay again when in the area.
Easy to get to right off interstate. Unbelievably hardly any road noise. Wonderful pool: clean but no chlorine smell. Level pull thrus with FHUs.
Right off I-70, this campground is nestled in a private country setting. A large pond stocked with fish, paddleboats, and surprisingly quiet atmosphere. The owners are nice and accommodating. Wish we had more than one night to spend here.
Love this campground. Small family owned ( they are great!) With easy pull through sites. Close to interstate for easy on/off. Relaxing , trees for shade at most spots.Will definitely stay again.
Nice quiet location just off exit. Level sites and good hookups. Late arrival and the owner had us call minutes before arrival since it was offseason. Remote location so only picked up 3 tv stations. Wifi was good. Would recommend they install cable.
Nice small place. Full hookup pull thru sites in 2 rows with just enough room for a picnic table and a fire pit between sites. Pretty full the night we were there. Hosts are very nice. Place appears well maintained. The sites in the 30's appear to have more room but perhaps not full hookup. Cell: Att 27 dn 6 up, verizon 14 dn 4 up, tmobile 36 dn 8 up.
Heading west and this campground was a perfect spot to rest up for the evening. Only regret I had: didn't have a fishing rod to use at the wonderful lake here. Staff was extremely friendly over the phone and in the office. Park was well laid out and shower and bathrooms were clean and well kept up.
This is the perfect spot for an overnight or an extended stay. It s off the highway enough that it doesn t bother you and easy in and easy out. The campsites are spread out nicely so that you have plenty of room between sites. The owners live on the property and are very pleasant and helpful. Nice size private catch and release pond that has large mouth bass and catfish, swimming pool and a play are for the kids to play. I won t hesitate to stop here again.
