Very nice, staff friendly and super clean sites. Security always going by and making sure place stays clean. I loved the place and can't wait to come back. Only one thing needs imorovement, if you parked way in the back you won't catch Koa wifi.
Golf course is not easy, but fun. 19.95 pp. includes a cart and 9or18 holes. The super sites are huge with nice furniture and a grill. The other sites are just fine as well. Lots forbids and adults. We're in a 38'A,with a tow.
This place is nice. People said there was a lot of damage due to Irma. Place is nice, clean, sites are a good size. Golf course needs some work. We are going back!!!!
The largest KOA with a 9-Hole golf course, Okeechobee KOA is teeming with fun-filled activities and packed with on-site amenities for the winter season. This tropical vacation campground features its own palm-fringed nine-hole golf course, driving range and putting green. Play tennis on four courts. Flex your muscles at the fitness center, hike the Big O trail or soak in a pool: one for families, another for kids and a third for adults only. Boating and fishing on Lake Okeechobee are a lure-and so is the campground's social calendar filled with parades and parties. Enjoy the seasonal holiday celebrations, from Mardi Gras festivities to a Christmas decorating contest. Swap fish stories over a cold one at the Shanty Lounge, or join a Full Moon Bike Ride.
