What a wonderful park located within walking distance to the town of Okotoks. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Our gravel site was long enough for our 36 fifth wheel and truck. There was plenty of space between sites and a beautiful park with the sheep river running through it that the campground was linked to. You can walk to town over the bridge or drive 3 blocks away to Walmart, Home Depot, gas stations and restaurants, even Pet Smart! We saw deer, loons and black squirrels on our morning walk. We will definitely return here.
This is a nice size park on the Sheep River on the north side of Okotok. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The kids park next door is nice as well as the river. The bike/walking trail is easily accessible from the campground. This place is a real jewel. We really liked it.
