This park is wonderful! We camped here for the weekend because we were running a half marathon in Russellville. Very nice park attendant, very clean and level camp sites, not too close together. Some sites had covered picnic tables. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful

This is a beautiful campground. Amy, a volunteer here, went out of her way to help us. She was so nice. The site are large and level. I would definitely come back and stay a week or longer. It has lots of big shade trees and great view of the water. It is a corps of engineers campground so with a senior pass, we only paid $10 for water and electric hookup. We stayed in a 30 ft travel trailer.

Perfect weekend getaway

We went for a quite weekend without the kids and this park delivered! The Park was beautifully kept. The care taker was very nice and helpful. Lots were well spaced and spacious. We had a spot overlooking the Arkansas river. Out spot had a metal picnic table with a small pavilion over it. We never used the bath house, but it looked clean and well maintained from the outside. Check out was at 3 pm which makes it a perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely be back!

This COE park had wonderful sites, full hookups, and a view of the Arkansas River. Who could ask for more? Lots of trees, covered picnic tables and a fire ring. We only stayed one night on our way home but I'd love to spend a longer time if we come back this way. The only negative was no sewer hookup and the dump station was not very good. And of course, no Wi-Fi or TV, but who needs them when you have such a beautiful place.

I forgot to say we arrived after dark, 10 minutes before closing. The people were very nice and accommodating. It was very dark so recommend getting there earlier and calling ahead. Would definitely stay again.

Great spot

We stayed only one night but the parc is really nice. Along the river the breeze was perfect. The sites are big, levelled and cimented. If you own a boat there is even a boat ramp. 20$ a night elec/ water incl. is a great price. If like us you have your national state park card, you get 50% discount.... try to bet that ?
