Stayed here a few weeks ago when bugging out of Miami FL during hurricane Irma. Camp host was really inappropriate about the whole situation. Sites were nice and wooded. The lake is pretty as well. The other campers were very friendly but our RV was ravaged by sugar ants. We have NEVER had a bug problem and in a few hours after our arrival our entire rv- all our food and cabinets where full of hundreds of ants. Weeks later there are still remnants of this debocle. From the white ant powder covering the gravel pad when we pulled in- it seems the campers before us had a similar problem. This campground closes strangely early for the season.
This is a wonderful place to spend the night or stay a week. Manager was wonderful to us. People in camp were awesome. I highly highly recommend this place. And the price of $20 was excellent.
