The aites of this campground are nested in a forest with unique trees, directly next to the Kalaloch beach. We loved the atmosphere and would have loved to spend more than just one night here, but unfortunately the campground was fully booked. Early reservation via the Olympic NP website is recommended! We stayed here on June 29, 2015 with a 30ft motorhome.
Great state park right on the beach with path and stair access. Sites are mostly level with tables and fire rings. No cell service. Easy walk to Kalaloch Lodge for a meal. No reservations for our stay but no trouble finding a spot.
Great beach access, dogs can run unleashed on the beach. Sites are great for small trailers, tents and RV s. Not for big rigs. Low ceiling, small sites, tight roads. Some folks were almost on the road, picnicking.. If you have a small rig, great, you can camp looking at the ocean. Big Rig, stay away.
