| Okay place
Getting to many rules. No open flame, not even candles. Small sites. Workers don't have a clue what they are doing. But for 32 a night on the beach, the only reason I gave it 3 stars. Everything else only rates a 1.

If you have a military ID card, you're in! Off season is the best in my opinion, but still fun. Great service and clean sites.
| Private Beach
Location, location, location... that's why I rate this one 4 stars! In off-peak, it is like having your own private beach. This was o ur first time to stay here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I found there to be ample biking and running, and the beach is full of shells, shark's teeth, and even found some sea glass. There's a MCX on the corner. The campground is small, and the sites are tight with no frills. However, they do have full hook-ups. The sites are all back in, and we managed just fine with our 43 foot coach. There's also a bridge that you occasionally have to wait for because of watercraft going under it and they rotate it to let them pass. Also, be advised that you must be military or retired military to stay here... and with that also know that it can get quite noisy in the area if they are conducting training exercises like they did our last weekend there. It's about an hour and a half to Wilmington, plus there's some other nice, beachy places in the nearby area... location, location, location!
