Nestled between two mountain ranges on the Rio Grande, my 8-year-old daughter exclaimed, "This is what a poem looks like!" Took off one star because it wasn't well marked. One sign off the highway seemed to direct us to a small residential road without any other signs. We turned around only to discover that WAS the right road. But the view was worth it. The first campground you come to is great, but the one just a bit further is truly poetic.
We had a great night here, got the last site on a Friday night. Camp host was very helpful. We watched the beavers in the Rio Grande which was cool. $8 just for camping, $1 for 4 minutes in the shower, which is plenty. Bring quarters!! Only gave it 4 stars because you have to pay for a shower.. not many RV pull through sites.
