| Clean but extremely strict!
The camp ground is very clean and nice but the campsites are very close together. As we were trying to hook everything up, the owners were trying to fix our cable. Not that we hardly ever watch tv, but it was so hot outside that there were times we had to go inside. I also had issues getting on the Internet. Again, usually not a big deal, but I had to work over the weekend. We were never offered to change sites or asked if it was an inconvenience. I was just simply told, "yes you might get a very weak signal." What is even worse is how the owners go around giving "campsite tickets" for silly things: not registering a visiting vehicle or parking in the grass. I have no problem following rules and realize these rules are why the campground is so clean. But the owner screamed at me, while driving by in his golf cart, no parking in the grass... I was simply trying to unload my elderly grandmothers car. Again, she was not parked there for more than 10 mins. I don't think my grandmother would have been able to park in the visitor lot and then carry the stuff a quarter mile to our campsite in 100+ heat index temperatures. I simply wanted to unload her car and then I would take it to the visitor lot and walk back. At one point, when I clearly was not unloading fast enough, the owner came and knocked on our door to again remind me of the rules. If we were staying any longer, we would have packed up and left to stay at a different campground.
| Clean Quiet Relaxing Park
We love it here. Quiet & extreamly clean facilities. Small pool & close to shopping/groceries & lake attractions. We stay here during family reunions so we are central ti everything we need while family vacationing.
| Close to things, but...
Sites were close together, needed 2 water and sewer hoses to reach. The 30 amp power pedestal arced and got very warm on my plug, cable was terrible, and wifi for jr. was limited to just 1 device, 1 vehicle per site. But its close to most everything there.
