Level gravel pull-thru sites with FHU. Great wi-fi and digital cable. No road noise, yet convenient access to I-40. Friendly, helpful staff. Bathrooms and laundry facilities are badly in need of updating. Not a destination park, but OK for a one-night stopover. Nightly rate is a bit high considering lack of amenities and condition of park. Paid $36/night with Good Sam discount.
A good number of people staying here are still working and departure around 5 am was over whelming. Would would think that they would have the RV park arranged to for those of us who enjoy early am sleeping. Arrived on a Sunday and the office was closed. Arrival after hour envelopes were available for checking in. Not many amenities. Wifi was spotty at best.
Easy access and close to town. It was also far enough from the interstate we didn't here trucks all night. Internet wasn't to great, we couldn't get connected. By great cable, lots of channels.
We arrived after closing. The manager lives next door to the office. She came and registered us. The area is really clean and easily accessible with pull through pads. The pads are level with easy hook ups. It is very easy to get to from I 40. Will stay again when in this area.
How does good sam give this a 9.5 is beyond me. I would give it a 7. The free wifi barely ever worked for us.
First: no one here to check you in. Water hook up is in ground; so for seniors; be prepared to get on your knees to connect water. WiFi and cable DO NOT WORK! There is no shade except around perimeter and those sites appear to be taken by full timers. For a Good Sam park; this rates 0! Recommend you find something else as $33/nite for water & electric is a bit much to pay! Very disappointed!!!
