Quiet, right on the river below the dam outflow, shaded and partially shaded, level, electric sites, trash, dump station, water hydrants avail. at entrance and thruout this pretty park, walking and biking trails, shower and restrooms. Oh, and did i say peaceful and quiet?!? $25/night, $12.50 with America the Beautiful pass, of course.
We stayed here 3 nights in June 2019. We loved it. The campground host was friendly and helpful. The sites were clean. All had a nice pad edged with wood. A fire ring. A lantern pole. We chose a site with electric. There are some without. None have water but there are water spigots available around the grounds. We found it to be quiet. There is road noise from nearby but Not too close. There was an occasional train whistle in the distance. The campground has a nice playground. A fishing bridge down on the water. A bath house with 6 showers on each side. M/w. The bathrooms were clean. you must reserve and pay online for sites here. There is no attendant to register and assign sites. And there is so much to do in the area it makes a great home base for the sites and activities. We enjoyed ourselves and will return.
