Great facility, but nickels and dimes you
By user-5787803... on 2017-10-23.
Set amongst In a large gravel lot, our site had 30 amp/sewer/water. The facility has a playground (which occupied my tweeners for an hour), basketball court, big lawn for frisbee, a smattering of picnic tables, and nice showers and laundry. Also, great location right by the Visitor's Center for Dinasaur National Monument. Our flat rate was $32 (one adult and four kids). But then showers were 25 cents per minute. And Internet was $2.95. Worth a stay, but watch out for the charges.

Great for Visiting Dinosour NM
By user-5409141... on 2017-10-23.
The last review was accurate except for most of the full timers are gone as the oil boom gas gone bust and the park is mostly empty. The owners are very accommodating and are really trying to improve the park. Good satellite reception, the sites are a little tight and slightly off level. I would definitely stay again. We stayed in a 34' moter home.

Location location location for dinosaur park but....
By user-5865818... on 2017-10-23.
Great location if you are staying just as a one night stop or if you are going to Dinosaur National Monument.
Bathrooms are way outdated but clean. Showers cost money. We didn't use laundry facilities. Playground and swings where okay. The biggest downfall was the junky full time campers that are parked in the campground. There is also some really rough homes next to the campground. Major eye sore!!!
The lady at check in was very nice and helpful.

Clean place, nice helpful hosts

Owners are obviously trying to make it a pleasant place. They lost most of their trees a while back and have replanted, but they are still saplings. Makes the place look a bit barren. Some full time residents at the back. Good Wifi. Bathrooms were spotless. Nice and close to Dinosaur. We'd definitely come back.

We found this great hideaway after a long drive on our way to Dinosaur National Monument. The park is very clean and has been newly renovated. The staff is friendly, helpful and hookups are perfect with nice level lots. Best place we've stayed so far great for families.

Quiet

Helpful hosts, nice quiet park. Of the 75ish spaces, only 5 were occupied (this was in March). Only complaints were: no tables & no shade. There did have baby trees that will be nice in 20 years. WiFi was decent

Closest to Dinosaur National Monument

Great overnight stop or as a base to see Dinosaur National Monument if you can’t get a Site in the monument or if you need full hookups. The owners are very friendly, with a young family and have been making improvements to the park. Full hookups with 50/30 amp electric, water and sewer are included in the $35 rate (add $1 if paying with credit); military discount available. Sites are level with many long pull-thoughts available. No shade, but young trees have been planted. Roads are paved and sites are nice, firm gravel. Restrooms are clean and nice. Showers are 25 cents for 5 minutes. Laundry on site, and ice is available. Previous reviews mention work campers but there were very few during our stay. If you are staying in Dinosaur NM this is a great place to fill your water tank (no water available for RVs at Split Mountain) and you can dump your waste tanks when leaving the monument, all for $10. I recommend this place for their support of campers with the monument as their destination.

Would definitely come back.

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Super clean bathrooms and showers. Adorable playground for the kids and great folks running it. Very convenient to Dinosaur National Monument and about 20 minuets to Vernal which has Walmart, grocery stores and lots of other stores. Would definitely come back.

Convenient location

This park is super close to Dinosaur NM, and close enough to town to do any shopping necessary.
Owner was really nice at check-in and when we had questions.
New playground and horseshoe pits, and grassy lawn for doggy walking.
They put us in the first sight on the end, which was a nice gesture but super hard to get our 42 5er around the corner and pulled-in. Had to back up a few times so we could make it without running over the sewer and water lines for the next door sight.
Level gravel sights. There s some funky layout going on in the other rows but the park wasn t busy so I can t say how those sights would be if occupied.

Close to Dinosaur Natl. Monument
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Hosts very helpful. Close to what we wanted to do. Price very reasonable. Great water, power and WiFi. Many pull through sites.Trees are young and won't prvide shade in summer. Pull through sites are narrow for big riggs, but hostess placed us every other site. Clean bathrooms. Watch for entrance. Signs hard to see.

Nice little park. Owners are awesome , super polite and very kind, and are making improvements and upgrades daily. Nice and quiet place and well priced. Sites are pretty nice. a little narrow for a big rig and not very level, but I would definitely stay here again.

Host was very nice. Cute playground for the kids. Definitely more of a parking lot feel, but good overall. Very clean showers and bathroom. A quarter got you 5 minutes for a shower. We were only there 1 night. Right down the road from Dinosaur National Monument entrance.
