Reviews for Overnite RV Park

| Nice place for a night or two

By user-5102029... on 2017-10-23.

If you need to stop for the night or even a couple of days it's a good place. Owners very friendly, we came in after hours and she came out and helped me find a spot. Nice full hook up pull through. It's right off of 40 so there is road nose but that's to be expected. Would definitely stop again.

| Extending our Weekend

Used as an overnite place to stay. In our opinion the name fits it. Had a pull through so did not have to un-hook toad. As some of the reviews state there is airplane noise and truck noise from time to time but not enough to us to call it a problem. However for the price it was well worth it. Stopped in with no reservation and staff was very friendly and check in was very easy and quick. When we are traveling through this area again we would use it again.

Nice staff. Nice clean pool. Internet was good. Would stay there again

| Decent, well laid out

By user-5517425... on 2017-10-23.

This park has lots of space and trees, some spots have chain link fencing for patio area and dogs! Never seen that before. Well situated for on and off highway. Airport nearby, with non commercial jets screaming overhead at times. Laundry facilities are very nice.

| Convenient to I 40

By user-5606206... on 2017-10-23.

Nice place to stay. No problems other than the planes that sound like they are going to land in the site next to yours. Most of the planes stop about dark, but the last one I heard was after midnight. I would stay here again.

Gps says park is on the right as you approach from the south but it is on the left or west of road. Very close to freeway but on loop going north around city.

Clean and mostly quiet. We didn't hear any road noise and it's conveniently close to I-40 exit 75 right across from Loves. During the day you sometimes hear a plane on final depending on which way the wind is blowing. The owners were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. The only wish I had would have been more channels on cable, it's very basic. We would stay here again and probably will.

| Like it's Name Good Overnight

By user-5409141... on 2017-10-23.

I have stayed here three times and like it's name says it's a good overnight spot. Close to fuel, the highway and the Big Texan (they will send a limo to pick you up). Sites/roads are gravel and snug. Satellite reception is questionable, good over the air TV, free cable TV (didn't use it) and no WiFi. Didn't use the showers or laundry. A lot of highway and some airport noise. This spot is good for an overnight however, if you can dry camp the Big Texan allows you to park overnight for free.

Arrived here for an overnight stop, weather was cold (had not been above freezing for over 36 hours) so windows stayed closed. This park is right in flight path for Amarillo airport/AFB, but flights stopped by 9 PM. Less than a mile from Big Texan Steak Ranch. Very close to I-40 so road noise all night, Pilot Travel Center across the street. No wifi, cable TV is good, good satellite reception. Entire park is level, had pull through site (#9) that was just long enough for 40' MH with toad, if you are 45' and enclosed trailer you will not fit without dropping trailer. Bottom line, I would stop here again for an overnight stay only.

| Mature RV park.

Part has been there for some years. Older trees and some long term campers. Good Sam, good rate, good cable, strong WIFI, gravel road and sites. Sites nice and level. Small grass area and table at site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great overnight or for a few days. Have shower and wash area, have not used them.

I read reviews all the time... This place is older, has grass, has trees... No Wi-Fi!!! But we would rather stay in an established camping ground, instead of a gravel pit... We checked out five other camp grounds in this area, all gravel pits... Keep us Wi-Fi... Loved this place!!! Needs some loving... But sweet just the way it is...

| Not bad but....

By user-6387826... on 2017-10-23.

Stopped here because of the good reviews and it is a convenient, priced alright, we paid $33.00 for a night, sites level and overall not bad but, we arrived around 6:00pm and jets roared directly overhead for about a hour. I had a confrontation with the caretaker about my dog which barked at him when he drove his cart to our site which was the only time my dog barked while the neighbors dog had not stopped barking from the time we got there until late into the evening. Just before sundown two whores made their rounds while a very loud pickup truck drive around around afew times. A strong thunderstorm came through and settled everything down for the rest of the night . I should have stayed at the koa.

| Good overnight stop

Older but reasonably maintained park. A bit noisy though since it is near the airport. There were lots of trees, shade and outdoor areas next to each site.

| Roomy sites with lots of trees

By user-5775621... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2014-07-20 to 2014-07-21

All the sites are easy pull throughs with a grassy area, trees and a picnic table. We did hear the constant drone of I40 traffic but it did not keep us awake. Tired bathrooms need some work but they were clean enough. Very pet friendly with a few sites having a fenced area for your pet.

Very clean park. We have stayed there three times. The camp ground is very level gravel roads and sites. Grass areas nest to each site. nice people work there.

| Cable OK - No WiFi

By user-5833168... on 2017-10-23.

Nice enough for one night. Cable works fine, just plug in and tell tv to set channels. It's not digital, but good enough. Pool empty?

| Great Stop

By user-5837136... on 2018-03-14. Stayed 2018-01-18 to 2018-01-19

Stayed for one night. Nice large level gravel spots. Good bath facilities. Great host who arranged a limo from The Big Texan to pick us up for dinner there - great local steak spot full of Texas color. Recommend both the park & Big Texan. We’ll definitely stay again.

| Nice landscaping

By user-4591853... on 2018-07-06. Stayed 2018-05-21 to 2018-05-22

Park is clean and neat. It is older but well kept. No pool, located near interstate and airport, but couldn't hear noise with a/c unit on. Liked that owners left tree's and are landscaping area. She has some beautiful roses blooming during our stay. Did not use facilities but she came out to speak to us even though office wad closed. Also given discount ($4)as checked in after hours. We would stay again!

| Windy day

By user-5220660... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-02-23 to 2019-02-25

We were traveling I-40 on a windy day. Decided to stop for the weekend. We were put in a pull through site which easy to get into. It also has a dog area fenced in on the site. My husband took our dog out for a walk after we set up. He said the past guests had not picked up after their pet. Pet peeve of ours. No WiFi and cable was poor. Older park. Otherwise park was ok.

By user-5255731... on 2019-08-09.

Stop here because of bad weather. Nice park, owners were very nice. Park has nice spacious grassy sites with tables and trees. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the site we were in was very unlevel but we managed. That doesnt mean all the sites were unlevel. We were in site 41.

| Just ok for overnight

By user-5936088... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-06-04 to 2019-06-05

Older park but full hook up close to highway and airport traffic but inside didn t notice too much. Level sites. People very friendly I personally didn t care for all the cats in the office when checking in but that s just me. A lot of full timers seems like. We would stay again if needed to
