| A great place to stay
Lots of sites all with pretty view. No hookup but shaded picnic table and clean out toilets. Verison coverage is weak. But if you are looking for interesting landscape and crystals this is the place. Try to stay in the furthest ring from the pay station. It's more quiet on the weekends. Right next to the Canyon is rainbow canyon. Is it pretty? Thirty art students were sketching while we were there.
| Great place to be
Real nice campground, kid and dog friendly, cover over nice picnic tables, dry camping only so bring your generator. Hiking trails but be careful they are not well marked. Nice hike through the creek bed. Beautiful colors of the hillsides green red and black. Camp is very well taking care of. About 4 miles of dirt road to get there but it's not bad. Really enjoyed camping there.... Quite and peaceful. Bring lots of water though.
