We called the day before and were told they were booked but the lady was so nice she said stop and we will find you a spot since it was just for the night. 2 different neighbors came out and offered help

I lived at the Owls Roost for almost a year. over the course of that time I saw many improvements. Old rusty campers were gone, the landscaping was becoming very nice, and the clubhouse area was painted, The bathrooms an showers had been improved New washer and dryer units in the laundry was another thing I noticed. Its a family atmosphere and everyone I got to know was friendly and helpful. Also the small store in the office\store is a nice touch. New management has done a god job with that place. i i

Did not stay. I pulled in, attracted by the price, but after seeing the place, I went on down the road. Most of the trailers looked like they had been there for 20 years. Everyone I saw had had long beards, long hair, and carried a can of beer. People seemed friendly enough, but just didn't care to stay there with my family.

We arrived at another campground on 8-31-17. We got set up and settled in for the night. Then the storms came! We got flooded out and had to leave in the middle of the night. It was a night I want to forget. The next morning we got in contact with Kathy at the Owls Roost. This lady was a god send for us. She knew what had happened and offered the last spot she had. While other camp grounds were scalping others in the same situation this lady just wanted to help others in need. All the people we met were very nice and very helpful. We found out that sometimes there is a silver lining in the storm clouds. We will never forget the generosity that Kathy Clark offered us. This woman showed me that there still is good and decent people in this world. So thank you to all the fine people there at the Owls Roost Campground. We will visit y'all again in the future.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Quiet and peaceful even though it's right off the highway. The place is older but you can tell they are in the process of updating. Shower houses are clean, laundry room is $1 wash $1 dry, we got some Nashville souvenir t-shirts for $1.99 in the store/office. Overall for $25/night I'd say this is a decent place to stay for fhu close to Nashville.

It is loud. The highways from one site and the train from the other site. The water is terrible it smells like poolwater and the RV site so tight together there is not even space a little firepit. This time we where not very luck with our pick.

My GPS sent me on a wild one hour back road adventure only for me to discover the park was next to I-65. The park was full with full-time units, but ok for an overnight stay. People were nice.
